server not responding issues

this has been an issue since i started playing, but it was bearable and only a slight delay until recently.
now it disconnects me.

i have submitted a ticket and worked with my ISP. they swear there is no issue.

only part of this i am unfamiliar with is windows 8. last computer i purchased (built) was an XP machine.

anyone have or know of issues with connectivity while using windows 8? am i missing something or need a specific driver or something?

i have updated my NIC driver and verified all is good on my end.

thoughts? opinions? ideas?
