New armor consoles on tribble

I heard they put out a new fleet holding with new armor consoles. As a cruiser cap who stacks a lot of armor, I'm excited about this. Has anyone seen the stats on them?

I'm more interested in knowing more about the Advanced Fleet RCS consoles!

    And the warp cores.

Lord knows the existing Engie power consoles bite. I too would like to see a return of the old power console days.

i like how its just turn consoles and armor, because all the other eng consoles are garbage. EPS are ok with BO use, but that console should be buffing the EPS skill, not JUST transfer rate

Not having seen the stats myself.....on the surface you can't blame them for trying to buff engys and cruisers, doesn't seem like the worst ideas. I for one would be excited to be able to play engy again. More variety in game play = more fun IMHO.

To be fair, I only find one or two of the Embassy Science consoles and only use 3 different types among my 3 chars.

And there isn't a Embassy science console for everything.

    Booster Module (Auxiliary Power)
    Plasma Distribution Manifold (Weapon Power)
    Field Emitter (Shield Power)
    Injector Assembly (Engine Power)

    Armor (Hull Damage Resistance)
    RCS (Turn)

    Emergency Force Fields (Crew Resistance)
    SIF Generator (Hull Repair)
    EPS Flow Regulator (Power Transfer)

So many things they could do to tweak the Red ones...but how easy would it be for something to have unintended consequences, eh?

I'd be willing to bet a Master Key that Neutronium Alloys aren't counted among the fleet engy consoles.

I think this gives you even LESS of a reason to play Eng.

Engineers are tanks... if they're making Armors more desirable due to extra bonuses, then more Scis and Tacs will use them and become more tankier than they are. Reducing the need for a class-based Tank even further.

Especially since the only 'real' Eng skills left are RSF and MW, seeing as how you can get an even better Nadion from Marion and console bonuses and everyone's got more than enough power to go around thanks to the Cores and Leech.

In fairness, the only engineering skill left is actually MW in my opinion. Anybody can run Elite Fleet shields, so keeping even high constant resist is pretty pointless since everyone can now.

Even Miracle Worker is kind of...arguable considering all the proc heals, regen bonuses, rep stuff, other fleet gear, etc etc that everyone can get now. The MW-trait is a nice extra once in awhile, but that's all.

Not true...sci get 2-3 armor consoles. My Galaxy-R runs 4. With fleet id have 5.

Cruisers would be able to get the most outta these.

With diminishing returns an issue (i get close to cap when you add powers and skills), I think whatever profs they have might make the difference.

Pretty much this. Depending on the stats of the new consoles Escorts/Destroyers like the Bugship and the Fleet Mogai (both have 4 Engineer console slots) will probably benefit the most.

I'm sure its more than that. They know most players already use the engi console slots as the dump slots for uni consoles. Now why would they want to make players have to decide between a relatively easy to get improved engi console (non RCS and non armor, people use those) and an expensive or resource intensive rep/lobi console?

Prior to the Embassy Sci consoles, I slotted my universal consoles in the science slots.

I will not take that bet. I want to go ahead and say "naw, they wouldn't be that stupid"....

I have been let down too many times to believe that.

Considering that the Embassy consoles already excluded the best and most commonly used science console (field generator) this is very likely to happen.

Guess I shouldn't have just equipped that extra purple XII SIF Generator as I'm sure this will be one of the consoles. Oh well.

Luckily for you that one is cheap, not like the Neut Mk XII.

Can't check em yet. A dev said they will be updating Tribble later most likely which might let us go and take a look.

well if you figure the embassy consoles had the additional +hull/shield or plasma infused proc,
It's likely that the eng consoles will also have an additional benefit.
    As for the warp cores,
Very interesting to see what additional they could add to cores,

neutronium and RCS purple mk XII already dropped in price.

1 update and the entire console crafting using doffs is put in the garbage bin.Only cryptic can do this kind of stuffs

on the other hand ships should use 10 universal consoles lol :D

neutronium won't be in this new fleet facility, as field generators are not in embassy, as there aren't warpcore that increase weapons energy cap. They tend to boost the crappy items for create more diversity.

its very nearly only neutroniums that are at the mines  oh and monotonium

the armor can have + to transfer rate, + to hull integrety, + to hull repair, OR + to turn. even the mk X gives +18.8% turn!

    magnitudes on a mkX-
    power transfer rate +18.8
    turn rate +18.8
    structural integrity +9.4
    hull repair+9.4

on the flip side, turn console can have all that, with ether some + to all resist or + to knetic resist

    magnitudes on a mkX-
    power transfer rate +18.8
    structural integrity +9.4
    hull repair+9.4
    all resist+9.4
    kinetic resist +18.8

the advanced warp core have 2 subsystems tat can get as much as 130 power, and the elite ones ether have a 1% proc chance for you to get 10 extra weapons energy wile fireing, or a stacking presumably 4 possible times +3.3 to all damage for every sub system over 75 power

    this is pretty nuts

theres also a large space walk ground map i have yet to explore

oh and one more thing of note, horta miner doffs!
