Costume editor person, I am begging you to change this back, begging.

Because apparently, I cannot get pathetic enough, but I feel very strong about this.

Due to a costume bug, I can no longer select the second outfit slot that I had created. This wouldn't be such a problem if you had not changed the color pallet on the Survivor Romulan scarf. It can no longer be green. On a Romulan.

I am very upset. I am carefully gauging my post, because I am sure you had some reason to do it, that you felt it made more sense. But this ruined my character. This scarf is a major part of her backstory, and even if I get that costume slot back, I can never edit it again.

Green is kind of an important color to Romulans. It represents, blood, family, honor etc.

This change has effectively destroyed the backstory of my character, and frankly, and honestly, being totally serious.. it really hurt my feelings.

I could be a sarcastic b-word about this, I could rage and be angry. Instead, I appeal to you, at you feet no less, please at least add greens back onto the pallet for this item.

I am begging you, it's all I can do. Pleading with you, like one of the Ferengi on the show when they beg for their lives. It's rather pathetic really.

Please? I'll do anything. <3<3

"Scarf Romulan" or "Survivor Romulan 01?" The former, I run into your problem on the third color panel (looks like a reduced version of the Fed/KDF standard palette, conspicuously missing greens and purples), but the latter I have no problem with.

You might have also run across the costume slot bug. There's a mission in the Romulan series that seems to not-quite-delete your additional outfits. They're still on the tailor menu, even though they can't be successfully edited or worn. For me at least, though, it refunded the costume slot.

    Survivor Romulan 01.

Can you confirm right now that you can make it green? Male or female character? Can you do it on BOFFs of both genders?

And are you serious, it DELETED my costume!? WHY WOULD IT DO THAT!?

    Survivor Romulan 01.

Can you confirm right now that you can make it green? Male or female character? Can you do it on BOFFs of both genders?
For the Survivor Romulan 01, I could color it green, with both Male and female BOffs, both Romulan and Reman.

EDIT: no, wait, never mind. Female Remans and Male Romulans can have it green, but not female Romulans.
And are you serious, it DELETED my costume!? WHY WOULD IT DO THAT!?
Well, not quite deleted. If you can still access it from the tailor and it's still on the list, but none of the changes stick and you can't wear it,then you probably have the same bug I do. Check your number of available costume slots: you should have one free, possibly one unlocked (if you're in a fleet), and then as many extras as you've purchased. If the bugged outfits don't count towards your slots, then although they take up space in the UI, you should be fine otherwise. Although you can't edit or wear the old costume as-is, you can save it and then load it into a new costume slot.

Have you been running the Elachi missions? If I remember correctly, one of those is to blame for the bug.

Thanks for the information, hopefully the thing with the color on the female Romulan is a bug.

It was after doing The Vault.

Still very upset about this. My character is really ruined by this. I am begging for a kindly dev to at least add greens back onto the pallet, as a Romulan who can't dress in green is no Romulan at all <kisses feet>

Seeming more like a bug. New characters can choose the full spectrum. I am going to playtest but my suspicion is that the pallet switches after you choose a side.

I am going to chip in here. I rolled my second romulan yesterday and replaced the 1 big huge romulan male with a romulan female, chose the KDF for faction side and setup a uniform using the romulan/klingon uniforms. my character and 1 of the boffs can have the exact same uniform but the other has a slight color layout differance even though wearing the same stuff. Then today i replaced the Reman free Boff with another romulan and she cannot use the Romulan/Klingon uniform at all. just the tal shiar or rom republic ones.

Other characters, chose Alien on 2, each one has different choices on uniform or friggin eye/eyebrow color. 1 you can choose any color the eyes the other human colors only. one has the option of doing eyebrow color and hair color different and the other the same. I have 5 aliens for charatcers and none have the same options. Same with every single BOFF i have. none have the same options even if they are the same race on the same faction under the same character.

Now color wise some can have colors customized throughout the unifor and others you select a color on say the shirt and it applies it to other items like gloves and pauldrons.

The whole system is messed up and my fed romulan does not have the faction outfits available. My KDF does though.

In the case of the costume I chose, it's side specific, and it's still like that. I'm rolling a copy of the character and going fed, because as normal, they get better everything. What was I thinking going KDF anyways?
