I wasn't that impressed with the Kumari when it first came out, but I decided to take it out on a spin anyway.

A evening to film, a weekend to encode, another weekend for the 12th fleet logo thing, and a day to edit.

Comments and critique (of video editing and/or piloting tips) are very welcome.

Choice of actual clips that you used was great. I think most video editing software will have capacity to add transitions. You need those. Smooths out the jumps.

I muted the sound. Music choice for me isn't so much about what I like, but what virtually no one will hate. Classical is a great start. Currently I subscribe to a service. "Royalty Free Music".

Even in 1080 the video didn't appear crisp. Don't know why. To many saves of the same files before uploading? I dunno. That does kill quality though.

I don't do voice overs I narrate with captions. Sometimes I like to tell a little story with the video. You may want to add some of that by way of a title, breaks or credits. Gives more of a "Finished Production" feel. I know you can do that as you've made that great fleet emblem.

In your game UI move your target's target so it doesn't cover your target's buff/debuff information.

But again, great choice on the clips. Editing down to the essential is something most can't discipline themselves to do. I'd say you've done a solid job there.

    Cheers and happy flying!

Heh, thanks for the advice. I think one of your videos was actually an inspiration for that Kumari build. This video wasn't meant to be too educational, more a compilation of 1 shot kills, hence the lack of narration. The sharp cuts work better with the music on (I would recommend watching it with the sound on even if you don't like the music just because of FPS Doug's sound bite :D) - I think youtube chewed up some of the quality on processing. It was finally exported as an mp4 at a reasonable bit rate.

Oh, I've also changed my UI a lot since season 7, so the target focus details don't overlap anymore.
