BSOD During Patch

I keep getting BSOD during the patch process. I've restarted several times. Anyone else having this issue?

actually, i just clicked the "U.S. proxy" box in the client starter options (i'm in the u.s.) and it got through the patching, though it was a LOT slower. then the client crashed as it was loading the game, but no BSOD. i think i can fix that by either returning the proxy to their previous settings, or using windowed mode.

Same thing was happening to me but I was able to get the patch to update in safe mode with networking. Now I get the same BSOD and netio error randomly while playing the game. Everything was fine before the update. VERY FRUSTRATING!!
