Support Page Infinite Redirect Loop

When trying to access the support page it ends in an infinite redirect loop.
I have tried clearing my cookies. I have tried disabling cookies.
I have tried on Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox.
Everything results in the same issue.

I'm not sure if others are having the same problem.

    Unfortunately, for a small percentage of players, there is an error with the support site and they will get a redirect error. As the team continues to investigate this error, please email in directly for support. Info here: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=267893

    Also, when you email them, let them know you are experiencing the redirect issue and they can resolve it manually for you.

    it been like that for me since you went to these new site. I am log into the sto site. but not the support site. and when i go to log in never lets me.

    I sent them an email and they sent me a generic shotgun C&P response covering generic account-related issues :P I might have to reopen that case, to their chagrin.

    You'll always get an automatic email back to let you know it was received, with some links that may contain information relevant to your issue and your ticket number, but your email will be replied to once our GM team gets to it -- our GM team works to answer tickets (emails turn into tickets) in the order received, and as fast as possible.

    Ya, I ended up going about 5 rounds with the support staff over email before giving up. Better luck to others though.

    I am having the same problem restoring my account. It's a shame too I just resubscribed for the expansion. It's been 9 days since I've played the game and customer service has done little but run me in circles. I can log in now, it only took them a week and 5 back and forth emails, but all my energy credits and zen are still missing and I've received no response that isn't automated. I'm not even going to try to get the support page working if it involves emailing them.

    Branflakes, you should really see if they can streamline this customer service process. It is incredibly slow and painful.

    I am one of this players who cannot view the support page do to the redirect issue, I have sent emails to the address above and no response. Can someone just go in my account and "push" the button that grants permission to the support page. I have many other major problems in the game right now that seem to be only effecting me such as:

    -I can't send in game mail, thru any characters, with or without items.
    -I am missing the "Childrens Toys" DOFF missions an all of my characters, which seems to be only me, and this has been that way for more than six months.
    -And the game still seems to have a lot of "memory leaks".

    Can someone (moderator) please relay this to someone who can help me out!

    Us moderators have no ability to forward along messages as we do not work at the PWE/Cryptic offices.

    All tickets even e-mailed ones get responded to however, due to the expansion pack launch and other issues arising there is a considerable backlog so if it's been a bit, check your spam/junk folders to see if you got a response and it got cycled into there. As for the bugs you have, there is nothing I can say on as I haven't seen any memory leaks, problems with sending mail or any doff missions which should be posted about in the gameplay bugs section (not the memory leak one mind you).

    Yeah I'm having the same problem. This is a fairly recent problem, as I was able to use that site in the past.

    I even tried alternate browsers with loose security settings to see if it would help. It doesn't.

    I submitted a ticket about my problems 45 days ago. It's an account wide problem with the support page. Has been tested on IE, Firefox, and Google Browsers. Two separate computers, and checked with husbands account on the same browsers and computers. His account has no problems getting to the Support pages. The Contact support page sends me to a redirect loop page. I can reach the page when not logged in, but I will automatically be sent to the redirect loop from the support page after log in.

    I have submitted Emails, every 2 weeks since the problems started both in game and on websites. I haven't gotten a response, outside of the C&P emails. I have been told to direct my problems to the support page and submit the problems there. (See cannot reach support page due to redirect loop).

    I paid for a lifetime subscription to STO close to a year ago. I supposedly have preferred customer support, which again I cannot reach through my account.

    None of my emails have been responded to, C&P response not counted.

    What happened to my preferred support?

    The title says it all! Star Trek Online Customer Support is atrocious. Customer Support was better when Atari owned Cryptic Studios. Has the issue actually been resolved for anyone in the last two years?
