Just curious to see what everyone's putting their Roms into.

Personally, I'm a bit disappointed to see that there isn't an option where I've got Cmdr Sci and LtC Eng. Looks like I'll be going for a Fleet Guardian then. Essentially a Sci Vesta clone.

They had to leave something for the klinks... Or do the feds have one with that setup to. lol

Got my tac to 50 in my Varo.

In the next few days I'll get a sci up for the Guardian as well......

and that's it... grinding any more rep and gear beyond that would require me to install a toilet in my computer room.

Probably gonna go for the Ha'feh and Mirror Ha'apax (once they reach 50.000 on the exchange, one more day or so).

But I'm planning on getting a fleet mogai, since I like the stats.

I went w/the Dhelan for my tac, probably take the tvaro for my sci once i level that up. Then there's the rep/doff/fleet grind once I figure out how I want to play them. Still working on how I want to play them, and what skill specs I'll settle on. The fleet Dhelan I may use for both in time. I may also pickup the 5 sci console option later on as well. While it doesn't have the best movement mods the Dhelan appears to be good enough for hit and run alpha/debuff mix.

A lot has changed some is interesting, not sure on the others. There's some things that seem a bit out of whack like epta, quant absorb (I've gone from 10% to 100% hull) which may change and impact people's builds. Fyi, I used epta in the KA Space and could spot the boss when the ship was cloaked and ran over 10km away.

Also, it's a first glance, but Rommy ships seem a bit too strong. Imo (again at 1st glance), singularity core options > warp core options. Rommy BC drawbacks < KDF BC drawbacks. I only have a couple of the Rommy consoles, 1 is the probe which I haven't used yet, and the other from the early tvaro. Gonna try and get a sense of individual impact before trying out the set boosts.

having a sci in a t'Varo torp ship. waiting for the nice romulan torpedo and other neat rep stuff, still getting killed by my own destabilized torpedos :(

thinking about lvling another sci in that fleet sci ship (the one we got - with the terrible name) or a tac in a D'Deridex, just cause of the looks.

still no pvp missions popping up

My Romulan's in a Fleet Dhelan Warbird Retrofit with 3 Disruptor DHC and a Quantum Launcher fore, and 3 Disruptor Turrets aft. Loving the ship so far... with Singularity Weapons Overcharge I can beat out even high DPS Kumaris and Bug Ships lol.... 5 digit DHC rolls are fun. Also Protip for warbirds: Subsystem power boosts are your best friend... make sure to pack em full of power.

    KDF-aligned Reman Sci in a Fleet T'varo...

    Shields - Jem'Hadar Mk XI

    Weapons
Fore - Bio-Molecular Torp Mk XI, Rapid Trans Torp Mk XI, Hargh'peng Torp Mk XI, Breen Cluster
Aft - Tricobalt Mine Mk XII [CrtD]x3, Plasma Torp Mk XI [CrtD][CrtH], Breen Cluster

    Devices - SFM, Aux Batt

...it is very much a work in progress. Though I'm not sure if it's forward progress. :)

edit: Btw, I'm not sure how to go on BOFFs. Warbirds don't get the +10% Escort Bonus Defense, and being exposed with each blink can be rough...hull tanking for the loss and all that. As is, he's at +77.5% Bonus Defense because of Sub(2x) & Infiltrator...with +5.5% CrtH (2.5% base & Op(2x)). One of the BOFFs provides neither Op nor Sub. Figure I'll go Aegis engines and KHG deflector/shields...do I try to go full Sub or full Op...oh well, it's a work in progress.

You may want to consider trying single aux2batt w/epta (not for the current brokeness reasons). Leading w/the JS will allow you to spam the sci debuffs and even tac stuff b/c of travel time by the time it hits you should be recloaked and broken jam won't matter. Imo, you shouldn't want or need the torp cooldown doffs unless you're going for cront procs. This less shots you take, the less exposed you are. Also, consider dropping tss for sci team, so you can recloak after being snb'd.

Lastly, tbh a B'rel would be the more flexible option (not counting singularity stuff & consoles), since it's more flexible, eg you could switch to a more Sci heavy boff layout mid match etc.

    Fleet TVaro.

Good fun, but I'm a bit undecided which way to go with this ship. It isn't quite as easy to set up for a complete alpha-strike ambusher as a BoP is. Not really as tough as a real escort either, although it can escape easily. (Or could if EPtA wasn't messed up.)

The Ha'feh is also a great ship. I wish the Fleet version didn't need a T5 shipyard.

KDF - Reman tac. I like the Mogai's and since I have the legacy pack, I use the Valdore version of the Mogai.

KDF alligned Romulan Tac in a Fleet Mogai. At first I only used a simple DHC/Turret build with two Science Officers. Now that I've finished the B'tran cluster colony chain and accumulated three purple technicians (plus an underpriced 'Marion' DOff on the Exchange) I'm testing a BOgai build:

3x Nanite Disruptor dual heavy cannons MK XII; 1x Nanite Disruptor dual beam bank MK XII / 3x Nanite Disruptor Turrets MK XII
(All [Acc]x2 [Crth]. They were cheap on the exchange)

Aegis Set (will be replaced by Borg Deflector and Engine for heal proc, plus Fleet Elite Shield)

Borg Console, Zero Point Console, Plasmonic Leech, blue Neutronium MK XI
2x blue Field Generators MK XI (might be replaced with the Mogai Set, if I should ever grind the Zen for it)
4x blue Disruptor Consoles MK XI

Tac Team 1, Cannon Rapid Fire 1, Beam Overload 3, Omega 3
Target Subsystem Shields 1, Delta 1
EPtS 1, Aux2Bat 1, Directed Energy Modulation II
    EPtE 1, Aux2Bat 1
    Hazard Emitters 1

This build isn't finished yet. However it's still insanely powerful in PvP. I'm zipping around constantly, have all subsystems at ~125 (except Aux of course) and do very good damage. Healing is a problem though, I hope I can somewhat mitigate that with the Borg 2-piece proc when I reach Tier V in Omega rep and maybe the Valdore console. For the moment I have to rely on my speed and Quantum Absorbtion a lot.
