Trek Movies?

Not gonna lie, but alternate universe star trek Items/Missions, would be cool, like the new enterprise or uss vengeance, maybe missions in which you go to the alternate universe and help or something, thoughts?

unfortunately its never going to happen, CBS and Paramount are separate (the debate rages on) and they have said they wouldn't have ships like the JJ enterprise or the vigilant. ALTHOUGH I couldn't see why cryptic couldn't implement an armoured variant for the existing ships. Similar to the ablative armour for the voyager but as a skin change.

Not possible, Cryptic don't have the rights to ships from the recent films.

As has been mentioned on multiple previous threads, and explained by Cryptic more than once, the Alternate J.J. Abrams Trek will not be making a direct appearance in STO because the rights for the movies are owned by Paramount, and the rights for all the Star Trek shows (upon which most of STO is based) are owned by CBS.

Paramount have, it seems, permanently nixed the idea of anything from the new movies turning up in STO except for those parts which specifically took place in the Prime (Original) Universe.

On a personal note, much as I really do love the new films I don't think they have any place in STO beyond the stuff we already have such as Red Matter Capacitors, the new Romulan lockbox and Lobi store ships and the new Shrapnel missiles, though as I mentioned, all those things were present in the Prime Universe before Spock and Nero quarked off into the twilight zone of the Alternate Timeline.
