joined trill for the romulan republic?

Title states my question, will the romulans ever get joined trill for their "faction?"

    No, nor should they. If you're that desperate for a spotted Rommie, use the alien-gen.

    yeah i could, but i want the stats the trill have. no interest in making alien-generated characters.

    I was one of the launch people asking for KDF Joined Trill as that was quite workable and was promised pre launch, Romulan's weren't around pre launch though so Cryptic doesn't have the obligation to do it like with JTs.

    It seems like Romulans shouldn't even be allowed to be aliens but since they can hey why not have some JTs too, wouldn't bother me but I'm not going to go asking for Rom JTs like I did with KDF.

    I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to make a Rom Joined Trill. If you've bought it from the z-store it should unlock for the Rom faction also. I'd love to make a Rom JT.

    I have mixed feelings on this. Initially I am inclined to say no as there is no justification for it. However, there are so few species options for Romulans that I can see it being made open if only for Republic faction and not Tal Shiar.

    Both a Joined Humanoid Trill joining the Romulan Republic or a Joined Romulan seem very unlikely events from a lore/background standpoint.
