When renaming your ship, it's limited to 16 characters long (including spaces). Boring, yes.
When creating a new toon, your starting ship has no such limit. I was able to give my Romulan's first ship a name 26(!) characters long. If I try to rename it now, the name gets cut off at 16 characters.
The limit's a fake. The game supports ship names a lot longer, but for some reason the rename window arbitrarily cuts it off at 16. :eek:
Let us have our long ship names, please.
