So...How about them Kits?

Man, it's been a while since I played this and with this expansion coming out, I have only one question nagging in the back of my mind.

With the arrival of the Romulan faction, are we going to see them *and hopefully KDF* in their respective kits? The last time I played only Feds had visible kits. KDF could use them but they had no visible parts at all.

Is this changing come Tuesday, or has it already?

    It hasn't changed, although there are three Romulan kits for sale in the Embassy store.

    well at least Geko keeps talking about it in Interviews for at least a year now...

    so maybe next Season?

    the plan is to separate the visuals from the items, and also split up Kits so you do not have a predefined set of 4 powers (which forces everyone into the same exact playstyle) but have 5 Kit Slots and you can therefore make your own kit-builds.

    (of course that also means that the 5 Kit items we have will suddenly be 25 Items in the inventory/bank).


    i would not expect anything for KDF or ROM Kit (or Armor) VISUALS until that change happens.

    Not to mention that Cryptic probably would not want to use the FED visuals but would want different ones for KDF+ROM factions, so that would require extra Dev Time to make new Visuals for this stuff.


    And personally i hate the look of these Armors and most Kits and hide the stuff always anyway... but that is just like MY opinion...

    I am quite sure my Tribble Romulan had visible low level tactical kits.

    An opinion I share.

    The armors look.. well.. ridiculous.

    I mean, I understand that you can't exactly go into war with just your uniform, always find this to be nonsense in the shows, I mean come on, can you imagine a soldier on the front lines in casual wear, but, the armors we have look like they fit with the sparkling vampires from Twilight.

    If I'm remembering correctly, I think (get ready to laugh) the Fed-Romulans have visible kits, but the KDF-Romulans don't.

    The Fleet Embassy kits have the same visuals as the kits they're based off.
