Hello, I am trying to bind multiple actions to the G keys of the keyboard without much avail. The binds works fine when I am only binding 1 action to it but it doesn't seem to work when I try to bind more than 1 key at a time. Anyone know how to fix it?
Are you talking about the in-game binding system or Logitech's key definition program, if it's the former it's supposed to work with any of the keys of a standard keyboard, the in-game system automatically compensates for delays and cooldowns between key presses and power activation, but if it's the later you don't get this automatic feature and you have to factor in time delays between keys in the key sequences you create, if the delay between keypresses is too short the game will ignore it.
G510 keyboard gaming software is beyond the scope of the game, Technically it is a 3rd party macro program so it won't likely have official support.
I think to get it to work smoothly with the game you would need to use the Logitech software to simply redefine a G key to act like a standard key then use the in-game keybinding system to define what that key will do in the game.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
That's what I'm trying to do. I binded Tactical Team I to Shift 1 and Scatter Volley to Shift 2 and tried to link both to a G button but both skills does not fire off even though the keybind is pressed. Any suggestions?
pull out the manual for the keyboard & check the bit about macro creation.
win-by-dice games add activation times to powers to stop you simultaneously activating half a dozen buffs instantly.
you need to programme a delay between keystrokes to account for the activation times.
You go into logitech g-series key profiler, Edit, Macro Manager.
Select new and give the macro a name & select Record delays between events.
Start Recording (press the shift-keys 1 at a time), end Recording.
It will look something like this:
(pressed)shift
0.09 sec delay
(release) shift
0.501 sec delay
(pressed) right shift
0.09 delay
(relesaed) right shift
Min. delay must be 0.501 ( just over .5 sec)
(You can edit the macro after you made it)
