I am teaming up with Raptr this Saturday for a special livestream of our upcoming expansion, Legacy of Romulus! I'll be answering your questions and giving out one (1) Legacy Pack and three (3) Starter Packs during the show.
Tune in this Saturday, May 4th, from 11AM to 1PM PDT for your chance to win!
i was wondering the same thing thanks for the info Brandon now ill have to figure out how i am going to deal with stoked radio that airs their show at the same time:( but i am planing on trying for the free packs
i dont have neaither so i wont be able to compete.
but i only have 1 question:
Will the legacy pre order package be on steam before the release for those who cannot buy it from paypal and that other company that never works?
couse it would really be sad story if people who wanna buy it cannot buy it couse you limit the pay options to paypal and skrill.
Steam has an absolutley super pay system wich always works 100% please let the legacy pack be on steam with the pre order stuff in it such as nemesis costume and titles.
otherwise i think im out
*ps i looked in the link you sent in my reply but i could not find the answer in there anywhere.*
I also sent a ticket into the support on perfect world.
anyways my plea is to have it on steam with all the pre order stuff you have currently on the homepage.
If only they fix Cloaking bugg *new message BOOM decloacked.
Really not thrilled with the notion of having to create an account for a site I don't even want to use for a chance to win a prize that I probably wouldn't get.
And if I did win through some strange twist of fate, I'd have to deal with intense nerdrage, jealousy, and conspiracy theories that the fix was in for a Community Mod.
Bah, I'll probably pass. Not worth the hassle. I'll see the game when it launches.
My views may not represent those of Cryptic Studios or Perfect World Entertainment. You can file a "forums and website" support ticket here Link: How to PM - Twitter @STOMod_Bluegeek

You can still check out the livestream without having to register In order to use the chat it asks you to register, though. Many of our STO podcasts also use Twitch to livestream, so having an account would also allow you to chat with them while they are recording if you happen to catch them.

Just for the sake of clarification, you don't need a Twitch or Raptr account to participate in the giveaway, then, since it seems you don't need to chat during the livestream.
Somebody getting uppity about canon? No problem! Just take a deep breath, and repeat after me:

You'll need to participate in chat (in what capacity will be announced during the livestream -- it's still being finalized) in order to have a chance to win if you didn't, how do we know you were there/ even select a winner? :P What I was stating above is that Blueegeek can still watch the livestream, but won't have a chance at winning without a Twitch account for reasons mentioned in this post.
While I understand Cryptic's choice to present the giveaway like this, it's really disappointing to those of us that're deaf. It pretty much assures that we have to pass on the show and prizes.

We should have someone from the team participating in chat, letting players know how they can win, so you shouldn't need to listen to anything You can also chat with us via the text chat, ask questions, and participate.
2) Not absolutely necessary -- the only thing you'd miss is my commentary and my answering of questions and talking about the expansion, but we should have a member of the team participating in chat with players. They would also be answering questions and letting you know about the giveaway.

Ah, okie dokie. Thanks for the clarification.
Now, the really sticky one -- some states/countries may (or may not) have laws about this kind of thing. Since the packs to be given away have an affixed dollar value, it may not be legal for some people to participate, depending on those statutes. Are we going to see a more comprehensive set of rules and exemptions prior to the livestream? I don't like in one of those places, but on the other hand I still feel obligated to ask for the sake of those who do.
Now, for those of you who may misconstrue that to mean I'm claiming PWE/Cryptic is TRIBBLE anybody over or breaking the law...chill. I'm not saying that. Some people may just live in areas that prohibit their participation. And, another necessary disclaimer: I'm not a legal professional, and that's not an attempt to give legal advice.

I just asked myself.... what am I going to do if I win ? I already bought the Starter Pack, so winning that would be redundant. I wouldn?t mind getting the Legacy Pack, even though I already have some of the stuff....

Give it away to a friend if you win It will be a code you redeem if you win.

Windows 8 users acces your internet explorer via the start menu, otherwise your adobe flashplayer will crash?? however I did figure out what was wrong with a quick internet search.

Meh, it's worth a shot in my opinion.
Not having to grind for months on end to get a ship (and later get a new one if I decide I hate it) is good.
Frankly, I'd even be happy with the starter pack, as it still gives me free access to the exact opposite of the free RA ship, which is still something.

2. Does this involve the use of speakers (and if so, is it absolutely necessary)?
3. Do I need a microphone? (If so, disregard the other two questions as unneeded)
