first of all, sorry my bad english, not my first language....

i have 4 toons, 1 kdf tac, 1 kdf sci, 1 fed sci, 1 fed tac... i can?t find any REAL disadvantage, to the KDF side (not talking obout the lack of ships), it is just a totally diferent way of playing of both factions!

it just remind me Command & Conquer, GDI, the most heavy and big weapons, and the NOD using stealth tactics and guerrilla war... both just as effective as the other... just diferent

I just wish the constant complaining will stop.

It's either "The KDF gets an unfair advantage" or "The federation gets all our (KDF) good toys.

People should zip it and continue playing. All this complaining and bickering gives the average player a splitting headache.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

That's a bit out of place considering the OP is only making a comparison of the STO factions with another game.

Might I suggest just not visiting the forums? That way you don't have to read what you don't like and as you suggested can just play the game and not worry about all the complaints being made on the forums.

Not really. It's a reinforcement of said statement.
You yourself have been part of the problem by recently stating that "cloak won't be fixed until federation players get cloak and complain about it".

Just play the game and stop complaining all the time. If you want to play the foul smelling underdog then don't whine like a sniffling ferengi.

B.t.w. i believe J'Mpok is the living embodiment of Kane. Different race, but same insanity and shifty eyes. J'Mpok is the Klingon Kane.

I think that pre-dates the cold war.

KDF have a right to complain considering our treatment. It's easy to stand at the top of the hill as a Federation player and say stop complaining and be happy with what you got when:

    1. You get something new all the time.
    2. You get and demand all the KDF goodies and actually get what you whine about.

I suggest you look in the mirror before coming into the KDF section and start complaining at KDF players. Fed whiners are far worse than any KDF player/poster. You're the one that comes in here whining and stirring up trouble mate.

Plus the statement about the cloak I think would be pretty accurate, look at the carrier, only a few hours after the Federation got one it was fixed, yet KDF players required a fix for months.

Congratulations on earning not only one, but two facepalms. You just confirmed both the OP and my points.

It's a game, play it and get over it.

I play both federation and klingon though i prefer federation play style above the Klingon one. It's the constant whining from both federation and klingon fanboys why nobody in their right mind takes them serious anymore. They're like white noise, like the boy who cried wolf.

My statement in support of the OP was to stop complaining all the time and then when there is something that really matters perhaps people will take notice.

In mean time have fun playing.

Edit: B.t.w. this topic should be in general gameplay instead of the Klingon section simply to take the edge off.

It predates civilization. "Us versus Them" is just what we called it after civilized lanquages appeared but to be honest I do sometimes miss the whole chest beating and TRIBBLE throwing mixed with the screaming.

    .

There is a difference between enjoying playing and having to put up with Bugs that aren't fixed for a long time

If you enjoy playing with bugs good for you, but for the rest of us it isn't at all fun, considering the time and real money some put in as well.

my intention was to compare both factions, and i have elements to do it... i have the Kumari ships (they are good, excellent firepower if you can keep your nose on the target), Vesta Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer, love this ship really, Fleet Defiant (i love this ship too, since i saw for the first time in Ds9, for me is one of the best in the game, and better than the Kumari)

Now in the KDF side, i have the Guramba, i love it to, the Javelin is jaw dropping, im working to get the Kar'fi and fleet hoh'sus, the heg'ta, lovely ship, i can use it in STFs, PVP and everything.... (and yes i have killed bugs, kumaris, defiants and cruisers with it), and the vo'quv with an energy draining build works wonders y pve and pvp.

i could buy a Bug, but why i should? i want to fly a different ship than my opponent does with it's own advantages or ways to fly it

i don't want the "best pvp ship" (name the JHAS, but i hardly think that this is the best pvp ship) in the game, i wan't the best ship for me and that i enjoy to fly, after all, i can destroy anything with my 3 tac consoles... and im a newb in pvp

i really hope that the federation will not get cloaking device, is just enough with the defiant and the Galaxy X, but i have to admit that the kdf needs a 5 tac console raptor, just one or 2 variants

BTW: my cstore ships where bought with dilitium, not real money, and sorry for my bad english i hope you guys can understeand what im trying to say (write)

I'd buy it after he dies and comes back to life with zero explanation three or four times...

23 unique to Federation Boff Traits, 1 Unique to KDF Boff trait

22 Unique to Federation costume packs, 1 Unique to KDF Costume pack

Just a quick example of why KDF's say they don't get cryptic love.
