Seems, like a Passive/Aggressive Project this time. ;)

Just a heads-up that this is actually the final Embassy project we have lined up. Starbase projects also finished with the last one, and we may or may not have more projects in the future for these two holdings. We do have another fleet holding planned, but it won't be released until some point after the expansion launches.

Also, we're working out details on our next featured project rerun promo. As soon as we have more information to share about it, we'll be sure to post. :)

    Cheers,

    Brandon =/\=

I'm indifferent about these featured projects at the best of times - given that they're extraordinarily overpriced for what you actually get - but I must say that with less than a month until LoR releases, I honestly couldn't care less about this one.

Part of why I say that is because these featured projects don't really mean much to most fleets because most of the time, only members of the fleet will ever visit the Starbase or Embassy. Perhaps if the system were improved so that Fleet Starbases weren't located in their own private system and instead spread out across the quadrant, and could be used by any Starfleet captain as a place to re-supply, change ships etc. (they'd be able to buy standard gear and have access to a dilithium and EC vendors, as well as a commodities trader, but wouldn't be able to buy from the Starbases owners provisioned stores, for example). If this was the case, then maybe making our starbase look a bit more impressive might be worth it, as well as making the starbases more of a hub for players.

Personally, it feels like a Dev blog wasted which could have been used to shed some more light / tease some more of Legacy Of Romulus features. But that's just me.

    Unfortunately, they usually do. :(

Wrong Blog type. Should be a LoR Blog with more info on Changes, like the faction mission progression changes.

Argh! This is the LAST project?!? Ugh. I ship out for military training tomorrow and will miss out on the LAST project?!? I hope the project rerun doesn't happen until late summer when I return, so that I can pick up this last project. I've done all of the others (FED) so far.

Based on three years of playing this game...
I believe there is very little you have to worry about.

Just about everything has returned in one way or another.

You don't have anyone in your Fleet that you can trust to queue the project?

Oh, I know. That's how I picked up the Starbase projects that I originally missed out on: during the project rerun back during Q's Winter Wonderland 2012. I'm just hoping that I don't miss out on the next project rerun (I'm hoping it won't be while I'm away), and then maybe have to wait another six months or so for yet another project rerun just for this ONE project. LOL :D

Sorry need the ridiculous amount of 216,000 Dil to upgrade Starbase to level 2.

Maybe if the costs were scaled more reasonably to Fleet size?

OR even BETTER unlockable by doing missions and content.

Whatever happened to that planet and nebulae for our star-base which was seen in some really really early screenshots? as tbh the star-base interior i admit is now full of life but the outside still looks a bit bland...

As a member of a large fleet that always runs these projects, I'm sad that this is the last one.

Seeings as these are the lasts ones, may as well keep the projects open indefinitely, and run percentage off promos from time to time.

What would really make this project worth investing in, would be if the security officers wore the uniform of the fleet that owned the holding, as opposed to generic NPCs.

I know this feature has been requested numerous times and that system limitations have been cited as being the reason that this can't happen right now, but it's still very much on my wish list, as are matching uniforms for my generic ship crew and ship interior development :)

Those would be nice to see. A fleet emblem on the base exterior, maybe a fleet flagship docked at the starbase too.

Somewhat saddened by it being the last one :(

That said, may help to get my fleet sb and embassy past T3 and T2 respectively without such distractions

Well bmt only lasts 8 1/2 weeks and once you get to your tec school, AIT, or what ever the navy calls theirs (former AF) you should be able to get internet access. Then there is always whatever base they send you to, Unless your reserve/national guard in which case you will probably just be sent home.

I think thats a cool idea .. bouncing from Fleet base to Fleet Base, seeing how others progressed and being able to use facilities on their base (with the caveat above of only facilities that dont take resources from that fleet)

Well, large fleets complete them quickly, and small fleets will take a lot longer. And, you get dil from doing missions and content.

So, there you have it. :)

Woot, glad it's the last one for the time being! I love these projects and only miss a few that I deem to be utterly rubbish, but they do tax my small fleets progression rather heavily.
