Ive been having plasma torp issues when using high yield

I will launch them at a target and if it impacts there are times my oppenant will take no damage but my ship will take damage and get the torp rad burn damage.

I usually launch my torps at around 5Km from target and then pull away usually impact happens while im 7-8Kms from target so the fact im getting damaged by my own torp makes no sense.

I tested this against the mirror ships in beta ursae and with the same results that around id estimate 35% of the time my own high yield plasma torp hurts me but not the target it hits.

This happens on holodeck as well. 2 days ago 1/3rd of my torpedos were blowing up in my face. A fix would be welcomed.
