Don't worry. Feds are whinning that they only get 2x times the stuff than KDF, so they will be getting something similar soon.
How the Devs see Star Trek, apparently:
Star Trek: The Original Grind
Star Trek: The Next Grind
Star Trek: Deep Space Grind
Star Trek: Voyage to the Grind
I am waiting for the announcement that the Feds will get an adapted batleth and the Klings will get an adapted Fed pet. Either way, Klings end up winning because if nothing happens, we get a sweet batleth. However if something does happen, the KDF have extra live food to feed to their targs. MUHAHAHAHAHH!
Thank you Cryptic for being nice to KDF for a change!

Please don't give them any ideas - I just got a tiny little bit of hope that they will actually come through with some unique stuff for the KDF in the next few months - don't crush it just yet!

But the klingon targs are hungry and they're sick of the sehlat cubs and epohh's I've been feeding them. They are blood thirsty and their hunger must be satiated!!!!
I am glad we get to check out the bortasq.
I can't wait!
Btw, do the crew in the bortasq have a hard time turning around and don't notice the poor maneuverability of their ship?
No. They're too busy watching everything in front of the die.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Targs are pigs. They eat pig-swill. On the other hand, they become into nice bacon.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.
I highly doubt the Bat'leth would be very useful. Tritanium in Star Trek is like aluminum or a low grade steel in modern terms; Its what's everything is made out of. The tougher, harder, stronger metal in Star Trek is duranium.
To start the bat'leth and the lirpa are not exactly my choice of ground weapons, the falchion is and anyone that used both can figure out why.
Second, awesome? were are exactly the stats before you can say its awesome? have I missed anything besides once again people jumping the gun and assuming things?
Yes, feds get the Phoenix pet ... like last year and KDf gets a bat'leth that didnt happened last year but I already have the shard bat'leth and can get as many of those as I want so excuse me as I really dont see the big deal out of this or KDF players finally cracked and are now in the Katrix?
I think the awesome part is that it is something mildly useful for a change.

And Lobi crystals are trash but in STO they're much more valuable than gold-pressed latinum.

Ermm, no.
Tritanium is over 20 times as hard as diamonds and the bulkheads on starships are made out of it.

Hardness is not what constitutes a good structural material (and, as an aside, most future materials in Star Trek are harder than diamonds). Duranium is far tougher and stronger than Tritanium (never outright stated, but people in Star Trek tend to talk about Duranium a lot more seriously/emphatically/weightier than they do Tritanium).

So your entire statement is based on your own interpretation...brilliant.
From "The Arsenal of Freedom"
TASHA: Tritanium. It's been melted.
RIKER: What could do that?
TASHA: I don't know. Whatever it was, it's beyond our technology.
And given that the ship's hull is built out of duranium while the bulkheads (that are used to protect vital areas of the ship) are made out of tritanium it's actually more likely tritanium is the harder material capable of withstanding more force.

That necessarily has to be dismissed: The Federation can make alloys of Tritantium, which would require them being able to melt it. Remember to take Season 1 (and sometimes 2) episodes with a grain of Salt; Roddenberry wasn't well known for being a good writer.

Hardness only relates to resistance to scratching. Toughness relates to how much energy can be absorbed in an impact without shattering. Strength (which can be subdivided into tensile and compressive strengths) measures load bearing capabilities. Duranium is also widely used as a structural material. And, as I mentioned, Duranium is often talked about in a weightier fashion.
All that leads me to conclude Duranium is a higher grade material than Tritanium.

Remember we are talking about a weapon that for the most part is used on Humanoids?? And not the side of a ship?
A plastic knife can kill a person if it cuts you in the right place.
And what is a normal Bat'leth made out of? I'm guessing they're already made out of tritanium since that's used in pretty much everything.
Bat'leths are in fact made from a Baakonite alloy. Presumably the metals found in said alloy are native to at least the Qo'nos system being as its a Klingon weapon from the time of Khaless.
I've never been a fan of bat'leths, since my Gorn's right hand doesn't
grip them properly in a non-combat stance. Plus, he's supposed to be
a separatist in subterfuge- I don't think he'd like wielding one much.

You've obviously never seen a wild boar before.
An adult can weight several hundred pounds easy with large razor sharp tusks and an appetite to match.
I full grown adult can go through two pounds a minute, hence the saying, as greedy as a pig.

True, but we're talking about domesticated pigs.
Heh, I remember seeing some guys make a rifle custom designed for hunting boars. Full auto with a large calibre round and a night vision scope. Why? Because the other option is to hunt from inside a tank.

Targs look like wild to me.
Domesticated pigs only look the way they do because they are domesticated.
First wife's famy would hunt them with pitbulls and heavy game rifles. It was a blast and tasted great but those big boys are mean mean mean.

The bonus maybe 10x dmg to Borg!

If they said it was made out of paper but did 400 dmg to borg - then it would be a awesome weapon.
Meh we still have that little thing called content
