Lead Content Designer Scott "Goatshark" Shicoff shares details about the fifth Embassy Featured Project in this entry of the Season 7 News Dev Blog series.
I heard on the grapevine (pun "working as intended") that these are hungry hungry Plants! They and their food alone costs 200k Dilithium. A flamethrower to burn them out would be cheaper! :P
Hunting trophies sounds more plausible, but meh what do i know
Plus i should HOPE there is a cardassian NPC tending to these gardens, a subtle nod to a certain ex-member of the obsidian order ^^
The only problem is that when that certain former member of the Obsidian Order was gardening in Romulus the death rate of Romulan politicians was a little high...:D

Looks cool, but my small fleet hasn't even touched the embassy oh well ..... oh can't wait till next week ( not season 8 dev blog #1 )
Same here. Visual it is nice, but in general it's wasted dilithium for small fleets.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
When these featured projects first started coming out, dilithium was worth almost half as much as it is now. I like these projects, but they're coming out at such a rate that my medium sized fleet is struggling to keep up. If the price of these projects had remained consistent with the relative price of dilithium on the exchange, I believe they would function better.
Would rather expend 200K for the ABILITY TO MANAGE projects and prevent dilithium wastes like this. Without controlling what assets are chosen, fleet managers are left to the whims of chance.
Another dramatic waste of dilithium for those that can ill afford it.

Fleet leaders are the ones who set permissions for what projects can be picked...so you might want to talk to your leader.
How about changing the Dilithium requirements to EC or Latinum. The latter would make more sense as you're buying it and would make the resource actually useful.
I need my dilithium to set up my Omega items/sets thanks to throwing a dilithium price on them as well. How about the dev's ease up on the Dilithium or revert the changes you made to the Daily Officer Reports (Foundary) so people could actually purchase these insanely overpriced projects.
Support the Game by Supporting the KDF, equality and uniqueness for all factions!
YAY! More useless TRIBBLE that no one sees cause no one goes there! I can't believe that there's that much Dilithium floating around just waiting to be used for such pointless garbage.
Please spend less time on useless stuff and fix game bugs. TRIBBLE around with the eye-candy when all the real problems are fixed.
target bouys and drones for us to test weapons on please.
And for added customer satisfaction create them in your image. Having an option to blow up members of the developers team tends to work therapeutic.

Hmm.... so I can spend my dilithium on Starbase / Embassy upgrades and end game gear from reputation etc or I can dump into a vanity project which is waaaaay over priced.

Mind you, it won't be called season 8 dev blog, what are you planning to call it?
Expansion 1: Dev Bog #1? (Bit meh)
Legacy Of Romulus: Dev Blog #1? (Bit long winded)
Hmm.
Kirk's Protege.
