    I am somewhat underwhelmed. Am I missing something quite obvious? Its pretty but thats about it.

    You are, there's an image in them stars. Look forward to the speculation about what the actual species it.

    the face is romulan on the right and remen on the left, with the Mogai crest holding the two planets making up the brow. atleast thats what i see

    i did notice it, but it doesnt really tell us much

    Sweet! It's Nero and he's back in our universe/time and partnered with the Lobi Crystal Consortium to bring us Narada class ships (enhanced of course) in the next lock box! Only interpretation possible. :P

    My initial reaction was Hakeev.

    If it is him, i would not put some kind of cloning/reanimation past the iconians.

    then again it says the shadow of, which often implies a repercussion after the event. perhaps hakeev's actions have created that shadow.

    I keep looking for more hints in the planet. So far ive found a lobser-shaped land mass, a Charizard face, and a pair of open pliers. guess they are teaming up with the lobser-ppl, using a Charizard they will pry (using pliers) at something...

    Hakeev was missing a left eye and was upgraded with tech


    I did make Hakeev my enemy for one of my characters on the KDF side bio...if he came back that would make him my Doctor Claw or Cobra Commander :eek:

    Granted Stahl may be just stirring the pot, but his responses here don't deny it, and at least circumspectly seem to support the notion that it's Hakeev.

    No way this is gonna be Hakeev or Sela ... last time I checked the forums ... there was no way these Teasers would just promote some kind of PVE Story Arc / Featured Episode :P ...
    Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.

    I love these build ups to big events, like the transmissions that were leaked prior to each DS9/Dominion episode. If they bring back Hakeev then I hope Janek makes a return as some kind of resistance fighter against the Tal Shiar.

    A faction in no way precludes Hakeev and/or Sela returning.

    I get that you don't think it's a faction but there's no need to be so passive-aggressive to those who think it is. It's petty.

    Only one more week until we get the not-entirely-clear blog entry that will lead to the somewhat-more-clear-but-not-really blog entry which will lead to the real blog entry. Hooray!

    At the absolute least, I guarantee they'll make clear one thing - whether or not it's a faction or an FE. They'd be monumentally stupid to not clarify that well before the release. The outrage would rival the Fleet Marks debacle or the STF Dilithium Incident, but unlike those, they wouldn't be able to just tweak a rewards setting to quell it.

    And if I'm wrong I will buy you a fleet module with my own EC. I'm serious.

    Well anything can look nice with lense flare. And I really doubt this game can be that nice. Unless season 8 is all about an update to 2013 standards of the game engine. :D

    I couldn't agree more. If it is anything less than a mini-faction, Cryptic would be well advised to clarify that to people very soon.

    The dancing around the question that has been done is understandable from a professional perspective, but the fact they have refused to deny that a Rom faction will be launched in May has just built up a lot of peoples expectations/hopes for a third faction.

    There will be a lot of rage if they don't deliver one and haven't let people down gently in advance.
