I think there should be more missions per chapter. Also when is the next chapter out as I have nearly got to the last chapter. And will the level cap be increased to allow more chapters?
No matter how many times they try, the Borg will NOT assimilate my sandwich
There have been plenty of chapters added over the years without a level cap increase.
They're not tied together in any way.
My guess is a lot of questions about what comes next will be answered when that mysterious counter on the launcher reaches zero.
So just wait and see.
Few days of power leveling maybe. Not everyone powerlevels to endgame and some substance to what is still a slow climb up the ranks would be nice.
Especially if it fills in the lower missing levels, adds story and completes the KDF faction.
Ground combat in this game consists of clicking fire fire remodulate fire fire fire buff fire boring
Most of the missions are bugged just get to 50 ASAP and put the horrendous levelling behind you
----=====This is my opinion you don't have to listen and no one else has to read them these "OPINIONS" are based on my exploits and my learning other people will have their opinions and that's fine just don't knock my way of doing things thanks=====----
Quite agree with the OP. And it is what I'm hoping with happen come may. The count down timer has only to do with the Under the raptors wings content, what ever that is. The KDF content may see a couple things added, but I'm not that worried about actually KDF content till mid may which is what I consider a reasonable deadline untill I hear better from Cryptic.
Considering how little we are hearing from cryptic, well, I'm fine with it, just let them keep working on it. The have a lot of ground to cover.
As for the End game content..We have quite a bit of that now, and more coming anyway.
AT some point they'll be a full on rebuild of PvP content..(I'm hoping that they can start work on that later this year, but realisticly expecting anything finished by the new year is a pipe dream with better drugs then I'm getting.
((FYI: took a spill down a ladder Monday, broke 7 ribs, and punctured a lung. AT the moment I am getting some pretty seriously good drugs..And I still don't see much in the way of any PvP development this year. Just no bumping my Battlecruiser as you go by..a Klingon in pain is when they are THE most dangerous))
The levelling process is 4x what it is in any other studio's MMO's out there that I know of.PWI, and Cryptic titles are not counted.. both studio's play rewardian mental games with thier customers. They want you to level fast because that means that much less work they have to do on the product. And the opportunities to get you to spend money on micro transactions are much greater at the level cap. Mid game play is a joke in STO. As MMO's go, if you take away the bells and whistles, all you have left is the Trek name..and not much else.
I want more game out of Cryptic because they can do better then a cheezy cheap money grab. Specificly they can do better then a another cheezy cheep money grab using star trek as its hook. Most of the Gamers here don't have a clue how many computer games based on Trek have been produced and how many of them failed because they were a star trek wrapper over something that wasn't very good to begin with.
Once apon a time action figures and collectables with "Made in Hong Kong" on the boy were a sure sign that you were dealing with an unlicenced, poorly made piece of garbage.
(of course some of those are worth a great deal to collectors now.
Beware of when you see things in STO labeled and marketted to you as a "Collectable"
Just in case you can't figure it out, that would be a lie. A data file that can only be viewed in a specific game or game engine, is not a collectable. A Data file that can not be resold to other players is definatly not a collectable. And I you cannot hold it in your flesh and blood hot little hand its never going to be a collectable..
........... but someone will label it as one to get you to buy it.

Go enjoy foundry missions.

R.I.P
Game also needs to be much more challenging. The fact that it is so easy with no real penalty is why there are so many bad players at end game.
I've personally witnessed a sto player with four engineering teams because he wanted to be a hull tank...
