Cryptic is always saying how Dilithium is a time currency that rewards you for playing the game.
PvP matches average about ten minutes each for Arenas. Three matches completes the wrapper mission for 1440 dilithium and 50 fleet marks.
Why not just make PvP reward 50 dilithium and 1 fleet mark per minute and have done with it? It would be virtually unexploitable (the game kicks you out after an hour of inactivity anyway, it's much less efficient than other methods of grinding those same currencies, and it would reward long well-matched battles at the same rate as short one-sided fights, unlike the current method, which promotes grinding over legitimate pvp as a means to get resources
and? ist still 30 mins per set of 3...it gives people a good incentive to PLAY PvP...I know when i want dilth afte rive done my spotlight run and am tired of stfs i go do pvp for the fun of it...idc that i die alot. I find it fun to try. Heck i do a set of 3 pvp battles when im on CD for my stfs...which can be up to 30 mins...and if i dont finish all 3 before the stf is off CD..then i finish it my next batch.

Set a macro to open and close your inventory = you could stay online as long as that macro is going. I really dont want to see anything that effects PvE to be introduced into PvP (ie PvP rep system where the gear that you buy can be used for PvE). Leave the rewards as they are now, anything more will just add to the crazy amount of afkers in PvP already.

You're welcome, Systems Team.
So? They won't be earning dilithium any faster than the intended rate, and they won't be harming the gameplay of anybody else.
