In Mini's 1B EC Tourney thread, he mentioned something that reminded me of something that I've heard here and there from Cryptic. "Raid" Content. WTF? How did you get that from something Mini said in a PvP tournament thread and why are you posting it in the PvP forums?
The 10 man.
One of the difficulties with 10v10 PvP is that it's actually 2x5v2x5 PvP. It's not 10v10, so to speak.
If they are working on or going to be working on 10 man STFs - with a 10 man team GUI... is that something they could perhaps test out some by offering to the PvP folks while still working on the actual STF raids?
How do you think a 10 man GUI would change that aspect of 10v10 PvP?
Oh man, a 10man team interface! WANT! Definitely would make my job as team healer a lot easier; I would finally have the ability to track my entire team's status, instead of frantically spinning the camera around and clicking on whoever seem to have low hull.
Plus, tracking and clearing debuffs would be much easier to coordinate -- it's really, really annoying to have to use the mouse or keyboard to manually cycle through each teammate.
That's a good point... its one of those features that every other MMO has... but STO doesn't have.
You would think they must have the Tech systems wise for Never winter.... Unless they are seriously thinking of releasing a D&D MMO with a 5 man party limit. lol
Well if Funcom managed to put it into anarchy online ( an MMO with barely a thousand active players) with a staff of exactly 2 coders, I would hope that STO's newly increased staff would be able to handle it.
But there's a lot of smaller, cheaper made MMOs that have all kinds of goodies that STO doesn't. So I won't hold my breath.
My guess is "hope" keeps people not playing but posting on the forums. For others, its a path of sad realization and closure. Grieving takes time. The worst "haters" here love the game, or did at some point.
If you could somehow get all 10 players in a 10v10 on the same team, I might actually be interested in 10v10. As two separate teams of 5 per side, it's fail.

sadly this is true. simply too much of a butt pain to not see health/easy target etc
