This video would say yes and that even nerf tric mines are still a viable option.
Also it's a great video of a comeback.

Science if implemented properly can be superior to tactical

Just it's an art that's all!
----=====This is my opinion you don't have to listen and no one else has to read them these "OPINIONS" are based on my exploits and my learning other people will have their opinions and that's fine just don't knock my way of doing things thanks=====----

I would defiantly say it's an art, cause I went boom a lot, until I found my grove. :D

Science is not only relevant. In most cases it is necessary and highly desirable.

Sci is very useful. I recently just got a Vesta and man... that things a beast! Good DPS, Good Heals, and an overall pain in the butt for everyone else. I've got several science captains and by far they are a necessity in any group.

When did anyone say anything different. Sci is and always has been the only required pvp class.

Science... is one of those things, where alone - can be somewhat useless to many. However, Science paired with a cat dancing on a keyboard for a Tac in an Escort... is OP.

Another example of the extreme Yo-Yo'ism in STO.
