Apparently all pets were fixed in the last patch these are now worse
Along with the nerf to trics the dilit I sunk into these is a massive waste
They used to fire cannons before now they don't at all from what I've seen and the trics might aswell be tranphasic torps useless
Devs what the hell I love playing this game but it just seems you don't want me on my kdf characters at all which If that's the case then shut them down that would e errrr than just breaking everything so the Feds get easy kills and all the fun grrrr

Useless? I really don't think so: the cannons did little damage in the first place, and their job was the more exotic effects, like Aceton Beam and their ability to slow/disable the enemy.
Even with the nerf, trics still do half that job and I think they do it better than before. Why? Because with this 'nerf', they hit more often now, disabling the enemy more often. Besides, the Kar'Fi itself does all the main damage.
Less damage, but more disabling. I see nothing wrong with that, and I play with a Kar'Fi on my KDF Sci character

Plus the trico speed buff doesn't seem to have worked on them

Bugs don't always affect everyone you know. My Kar'Fi's Fer'Jai's shot their cannons fairly often, but other than that, the only thing that was different from before the 'nerf' was that they fire the trics more often.

please don't use anecdotal evidence. i have the kar'fi as well. the fer'jei aren't much better than to'duj in overall damage output and they rarely use their other goodies you mentioned like aceton beam.
if you aren't parsing yourself you are working off anecdotal evidence and that does not help get bugs fixed.

That is seriously all of it: on my KDF Sci character in a Kar'Fi, my Very Rare Fer'Jai Frigates are firing and behaving the same as always, before and after the tricobolt nerf, the only difference being the trics fire more often now.
That's it, simply because I'm not affected by that specific bug. And I couldn't tell you why I'm not affected even if asked.
And don't use their goodies? They always start off with Aceton Beam when battle starts, and use it as soon as they get the enemy back in their arc (and out of cooldown). And they're always firing cannons and torpedoes when possible, even if they use HY and CRF less frequently than you'd expect.
Which might be me not being affected by the bug, again. As for being below in damage, that's the point: to make up in effects what they don't do for damage. Damage isn't everything for my style though
