Q: (trygvar13) What happened to the D?Gavama class Bird of Prey? I have the screenshot of when it was released on TRIBBLE but it is still not available.
Dstahl: This ship was removed prior to our Free to Play launch and we expect it to return to the game later this year.

Not impressed.
As for the D'Gavama, it's almost a hundred and fifty years old, it shares its K22 designation with the B'rel (it probably actually is nothing more than an earlier version of the B'rel) and it brings nothing to the table as far as unique abilities that would make for a good universal console.
Thanks Cryptic, but you can leave this one on the back burner for as long as you like.
...Oh, baby, you know, I've really got to leave you / Oh, I can hear it callin 'me / I said don't you hear it callin' me the way it used to do?...

That I could get into.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

lol
Written in 2012, it lists every detail about the Bird Of Prey ships as well as a English to Klingon mini dictionary and script.
All BoP are commissioned by the various Houses and built to individual specifications, so very few ships are the same. The red bar on the B'rel is the cloaking emitter, there are two warp core on each ship, there are multiple types of torpedoes carried on the ship (Talon's Strike would be the standard one, Morath's Fist is a sensor probe/overloaded torp/one man escape pod, Eagle's Claw is like the Breen mine torp), the wings are actually flat warp nacelles, the basic ship has 7 decks with 36 crew but most of the ship is dedicated to cargo space. The B'rel is standard template for all BoP, the K'vort is just a scaled up version of it, they add extra decks and increase the size of the weapons if they want a bigger ship, Disruptors are compressed plasma bolts or beams taken from the warp core and have effective range of 52km at 19.5 to 3.7 megawatts.
Yes, there are bathrooms on the ship, its Beq not bek, there 3 cooks one the ship (they don't "cook" they're butchers who use strong spices) the ships surgeon lives in the sickbay and is called "Haqwl" (bone mender). The Klingon Naval Academy is responsible for the principal design and mass production of ships in located on Dek'Go'Kor.
Book quote " It is a misconception that Klingons have no interest in science; it's simply that they are interested the kind of science that can be used in combat".
Hopefully related to this, and we're getting levels 1-20 back... but probably not
Would be sweet if the Elite BoP carrier pets look like that!
