Make event missions perminate KDF content

Some of the event missions should be retained as perminant KDF storyline missions. For example, the Year two mission where the player tests the Bortaqu and the Year three mission "Temporal Ambassador" should be retained as part of the Klingon Homefront missions. But since the event is over, the missions would only give EC and expertise as a reward. The free ships would no longer be given out.

The 2nd Anniversary Bortas/Odyssey mission was only a little something to show off the new flagship. The 3rd Anniversary mission has been confirmed as sticking around (complete with T3 Ambassador/Kamarag reward), but the T5 Retrofits won't offered with it.

That is a start, but I could see the 2nd Aniversery Mission being expanded and made into a storyline mission. Perhapse a Section 31 team tries to board the ship and catpure it.

Section 31 is the black ops of Starfleet. They have the task of protecting the Federation from all external and internal threats by using the belief the end justifies the means. In one of the Section 31 novels, they are sabotaging a highly aggressive race from achieving warp capability. I know novels are soft canon, but it gives an example of the type of work they do. If they want it, then they would go through unofficial channels to requistion one. There is no reason for them to steal a Starfleet ship. They can just download the plans and build their own with a few modifications to make it a black ops ship like a phased cloak.

Or they would simply manipulate the captain of the ship to do it for them or at least make sure the captain is a S31 undercover operative, sort of like how Reid was in ENT.
