Ideas for a 5 tac console Fleet Raptor...

I was thinking a bit and well as any KDFer knows we don't have any fleet ships that have 5 tac consoles vs the Feds 2.

The Idea I think would to make it similar to the Tactical Escort but not have the stats to identical to the Qin or Somraw. I was thinking maybe a fleet version of the Pach. (Partly because there are only two other raptor models to choose from...partly because I think the Puyjaq looks sweet.)

I would say 35k hull
Shield Modifier maybe somewhere in the .8 to .85 range
Turn rate of say 14.
Inertia of around 60 to 65
Boff Layout similar to the other two fleet raptors, I'd love to say Universal ensign but that might be a bit powerful...so if not universal maybe Science?
Consoles maybe 5 Tac/3 Sci/2 Eng

    I would say 33k hull
    Shield Modifier maybe somewhere in the .9
    Turn rate of say 17.
    Inertia of around 70
    Boff Layout similar to the other two fleet raptors,
    Consoles maybe 5 Tac/3 Sci/2 Eng

    I prefer lower hull and bigger turn ratio and shield mod.Actually they are copied from Fleet defiant which is the deadliest "raptor" in game in this moment.

    Kdf should have a comparable raptor .

    I'm Fed and I support this proposal!

    Also, I hear there's something wrong with the Qin's turning pivot? Should that be fixed as well?

    (Mind if I ask what was wrong with the Qin's pivot in the first place?)

    In pvp if you try to use a raptor as it is (without RCS console for example) you will find that is almost impossible to turn as any federation escort.More even some sci federation ship's do out-turn my raptor.It is like flying in circle around with federation ship pounding the raptor from behind while you can't do anything to get a weapon lock.Very frustrating and unfair mostly in C&H where you have no other choice than to stay and fight near a fixed point in space.

    It is like this :"Hey lets make kdf some slow turning ship's so faster fed escorts can have fun shooting them easily and don't forget to give them bigger hull so the fun won't end too soon"

    This seating is quite unusual for a escort by missing a LTC tactical seating.
    Probably it would work in only cannon build I guess.
    For me personally it would be a little problem because I should have to ditch BO or THY that I am using now.

    Anyway except seating the other characteristics are nice.

    34k hull, 18 turn, 0.83 shields, 60 inertia, 0.22 impulse mod.

    There are good and there are bad ships. Why do you want 5 tac consoles on a crappy hull ? Make this one a heavy bird of prey (read K'Vort) and you may actually get a 5 tac consoles ship with a turning capability.
    Btw, we do have a 5 tac consoles fleet ship. Fortunately I've forgotten the name of the fugly spacewhale.

    Fleet Pach

    Start with the standard Qin specs and add 10% across the board, then add the 5th TAC console slot.

    Done.

    ...and I LOVE the Qin pivot point right where it is !

    The reason why I gave it the stats I did was because I was trying to keep the other two raptors from going completely obsolete.

    The kinda lower turn rate...well ours would have free cloak and a lower turn rate which we can put a rcs if we wish. The Defiant has a higher turn rate but have to use a console to cloak.

    Just fix the pivot on the Fleet Qin, -OR- Raise its hull and add a 4th rear weapon mount.... Er, plus the 5th console. ;)
