Can't Connect to Server III: The Director's cut

So, launcher won't start and if it does there's a big white screen with 'Please Wait...' in the corner.
I know people are aware of the problem and that others are having it too. It's not me or my connection, so I'm not looking for advice for work arounds. This one's one the Devs to fix not us. We're the customers and they provide the service we pay for, either through subs or through zen purchases.
Broken stuff can take time to fix, that's fine but I'm waiting patiently for some word, anything, from the staff to say "Sorry for the inconvenience, we're working on a solution."
[EDIT] - Just seen the launcher d/l thread. Close and delete this thread when ready :P
