Question, are you able to purchase (Advanced) Orion Slaver if you unbox the Mirror Vo'Quv Carrier, or only if you buy the ship from the C-store?

It shouldn't matter. if you get advanced Orion Slavers from the D-Store they should work on Any Carrier/Flight Deck Whosits.

They are in no way linked to the Mirror OR standard Vo'Quv. They are available to anyone.

Go to the shipyard at Qonos, talk to the Ferasan guy in the back who sells Dil-purchased ship gear.

They're usable on any type of carrier that Klingons have access to, but as I understand it you do have to buy any Orion Flight Deck Cruiser from the C-store. Doesn't matter if its a Daciot, Corsair, or Maurader though. Maybe its changed I don't know.

If not the Daciot is the cheapest.

I have none of those, and still was able to purchase a set of Advanced Orion Slavers.

There are multiple Orion hangars, each of which depend on different ships.

Orion Slavers are available for all KDF players, regardless of whether they have a ship they can actually use them with.

Orion Interceptors are unlocked by purchasing the Dacoit Flight-Deck Cruiser (1000 Zen).

Tachyon Drones are unlocked by purchasing the Corsair Flight-Deck Cruiser (1500 Zen).

Marauding Force hangars are unlocked by purchasing the Marauder Flight-Deck Cruiser (2000 Zen).

Sad thing is, all those pets are incredibly useless compared to what is available without having to purchase a ship.

Slavers are not part of a ship purchase and they are very nice for farming.
        Interceptors do not outperform todujs
Tachyon drones...umm.. why use them? Shield draining is better accomplished with direct firepower from todujs or birds of prey.
Marauding force is a pathetic excuse for an extra boarding party ability.

Personally I would like them to re-work these carrier pets.

Interceptors should be lightning fast, carry chroniton torps and have engine disable ability.
Tachyon drones should have the effect tachyon mines do: disrupt shield resists and regen.
Marauding force should disable all ship abilities (except -team abilities) like a stun for as long as they are aboard.

All you need are slavers or interceptors...the purple kind!

I can take a side in KASE with my kar'fi and slavers! Interceptors make the task easier!

I laugh at those that think these two sets are useless!!!!

compare them with purple todujs. you'll see how the interceptors lag behind.

The inceptceptors are fast, they're only fighters with hyper engines. Also they do drain power from engines and if you have the very rares they fire Chroniton Torpedeos.

Still in PVE Slavers are king, because Slavers are profitable and get the job done, even if others have higher dps.

So looking forward to the Elite Slavers.

PLUS...AI can use beams better than cannons and turrets.

        At least in my experience!

This is correct, and that's why you don't see AI using cannons in Fleet Alert events.

Interceptors are not for direct DPS. They are the KDF counterpart to the Danubes. They are there to slow your opponent. IMO they are stronger then Danubes, especially since the Danube nerf. Do more damage then a Danube, and their engine drain is not locked out like the tractors are. Don't compare then to fighters, they are a utility pet, and one of the best. Oh, by the way, Interceptors *DO* carry chronitons, have an engine drain, and are lightning fast... so I'm not quite certain what it is you are asking... you already got it...

Tachyon drones... I will agree, could use some love. They aren't bad in and of themselves but the cooldown is too long. Do a real number on shields while they are up, but don't stay up long enough and then its too long to get them back. Concept is solid, just needs a little love. Even then, they do amazing things coupled with power syphon drones in Hive Onslaught. Shield/Energy drain there is stronger then raw DPS in there assuming at least somebody is bringing the raw DPS for you. On a side note, I love that place. One of the few places playing debuff sci is actually worth it in PvE...

Mauraders are better then bording parties. First, they aren't based on your crew, so even late into an engagement you can still be firing them off. Second, instead of just fireing shuttles out to your target, Mauraders fly around zapping things with their beams while transporting their away teams onto other ships. That means they are a DPS bump while also being a debuff. Yes, Tac Team still clears it, but why would you use Mauraders in PvP when you have Interceptors...

Slavers are one of the worst pets. Yes, free contraband. That's great I guess. I'd rather actually kill the enemy most of the time. I do run the slavers when I'm just relaxing and running dailies tho.

All of the KDF side pets are pretty snazzy. The "worst" one are the shield repair shuttles, but that is shared with Fed. Also, its not that shield repair shuttles are bad in and of themselves, just that loading anything else is going to be better most of the time. Opporunity cost is a killer.
I once again match my character. Behold the power of PINK!

I agree the Slavers AI is much better then my interceptors or drones.

The beams also make it easier to keep track of my slavers.

Slavers also net EC and commodies which at times can be traded in for Fleet Credits.
