Rumor was from I believe the Ask Cryptic or maybe something else that the new ship the D9 the cross between the D7 and Vor'cha was coming out before the lockbox... Any confirmed date yet on when it is coming out?

Probably for the Anniversary.
But I don't think it's called a D9.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

'...I can tell you that we're not in the military and that we intend no harm to the whales.' Kirk: The Voyage Home
'Starfleet is not a military organisation. Its purpose is exploration.' Picard: Peak Performance
'This is clearly a military operation. Is that what we are now? Because I thought we were explorers!' Scotty: Into Darkness
'...The Federation. Starfleet. We're not a military agency.' Scotty: Beyond
'I'm not a soldier anymore. I'm an engineer.' Miles O'Brien: Empok Nor
'...Starfleet could use you... It's a peacekeeping and humanitarian armada...' Admiral Pike: Star Trek
This game isn't canon, so I don't think the devs are stuck using what appeared on-screen.
That said, STO seems to prefer the names of the Klingon ship classes, rather than their alphanumeric designations, so it will probably just be named in the game.

No, but they also keep telling us they can't just run around and grab other companies' (in case of the C5 Amarillo Design Bureau, in case of the D9 that would be FASA) stuff either.
Also, each company basically creates its own non-canon "pocket" universe since one company can't use the materials from the other, or even reference them.
Same goes for canon Trek: it has ignored all non-canon material ADB has created since the 1970's, same goes for FASA's material from the 1980's.
Ah, the 'Kamarag' ! I must say, I really like what they've done with that one visually. The people on their team working on KDF artwork are actually doing a pretty good job. I'm looking forward to piloting one of these ships
That said, to come back to the OP's point, although I never came across someone exclusively confirming this, it's kind of a common knowledge that this would be the 3 years od STO anniversary ship for the KDF. So we could probably expect it around Jan 31/1 Feb.
You can check your in game callendar for the event, it states that it starts on these dates.

Now shaddup about the queues, it's a BUG
And if it hadn't been taken in "Generations", the ship could then be called the D12.:P
