Anyway to bind an autowalk to a key?

I have been wondering today if it's possible to bind an automatic walk command to a key. I am getting tired of having to hold a key and then move to walk. So, is there an autowalk command that I can bind? If so, what's the command name so I can bind it?

If you mean walking instead of jogging, then you will also have to use the chat box, and type in "/walk 1" (without the quotes, and remember the space). Then you can just hit the "R" key, and walk all you want.

Yes, I know the default key for automatic movement is R, but I'm talking about a toggle key, as in, being able to walk without having to hold down a key. I want to at least be able to walk without have to hold a key, so I can do things like chat and such.

    Hmm, I see.

Type "/bind <key> ++walk" into the chat box whilst on the ground.
Note that RPG and Shooter modes have to be bound separately.
This acts as a toggle for the walk command.

In my case, I've chosen to bind it to my Alt key, so I did "/bind Alt ++walk" on all my toons, in both RPG mode and Shooter mode.

    Good luck

But it is strange that to sprint you use the shift key, toggable, sneak/aim is also toggable, while walking is standard not bound as a toggable key.

The devs were probably afraid one might set it on/off by accident and a new player, not yet familiar with the keybinds, might get frustrated.

Any way to stop it from disengaging after you zone?
It gets tiring to keep hitting it each time.
