The 2/3 bonus: "Plasma conductive circuitry" does not boost the plasma damage (dot) of the Romulan Hyper plasma torpedo.

It DOES boost the plasma damage and the proc damage of plasma DHC, plasma turrets, and regular plasma torpedos.

Its only supposed to affect energy weapons, not projectile as far as i know. I believe all torpedo's fall under the projectile category. I use the set on my cruiser and it has boosted my energy weapons. I get a 25% boost to torpedo damage from the 2 piece Adapted MACO though.

If this is true, then it indeed is not working as intended, since you talk of the plasma dmg portion of the dmg, it's not working, but if you talk of kinetic portion, working as intended. I think I'l check it up once I have logged in, but I doubt that it's not working.

Just pointing out for viewers, plasma energy damage consoles boost plasma dot of torpedoes, and all other plasma damage in the game, ewp, energy proc, energy dmg, etc.
meaning that using plasma energy consoles basically also makes your torpedoes more useful.

Plasma projectile weapon damage only boosts torpedoes but not other type of damage, listed as kinetic, and plasma proc of torps only.

I tested this out by equipping and unequipping the console, and looking at the damage numbers under the tooltips. Regular plasma torpedos had their proc damage increased with the console equipped. But the dot of the hyperplasma torpedo did not change with the console equipped.

It is one of those things where based on the 2pc set bonus name - might see where it would affect only energy. Plasma Conductive Circuitry. However, the bonus listed is just +7.6% Plasma Damage - not +7.6% Plasma Energy Damage.

Unlike other posters, I'm not seeing any change to the DoT damage in the tooltip even for regular Plasma Torpedoes.

    Plasma Torp - no.
    Hyper-Plasma Torp - no.
    Omega Torp - no.
    Eject Warp Plasma - no.

Would be nifty if the tooltip for the bonus could either be changed to +7.6% Plasma Energy Damage or that the +7.6% Plasma Damage actually apply to all forms of Plasma Damage.

Personally, ahem, I'd lean toward the latter.

edit: I asked around, and folks could have sworn that it was working like a Tac console - that it was modifying all PDoTs and EWP. Hell, I could have sworn that was the case on another toon when I last looked a month or so back.
