While Q is closing down his Winter Wonderland for the year in less than a week, he's employed some Ferengi to continue selling his holiday rewards for a limited time.

I was at Quark's the other day and the "GPL Conversion Unit" console wasn't working. Perhaps I was looking at the wrong thing, or it was disabled for a time, and will now be re-enabled?
At the console in the Wonderland we can turn in Holiday Collectibles and Winter Epohh Tags for GPL. After we buy our Breen Chel Grett Warship, what will be done with any left over Autographed 8?10 Glossy Photos of Q we may have? Will those be added to the Conversion Consoles (last I looked, they weren't there)? Also, if we have any extra Winter Epohhs after the Event, can we still turn those in at DS9, Drozana, or on New Romulus for Romulan Marks?

Yes i did enjoy the event, very fun and loved the music.
The console is only active when the winter event is not, since you can turn in your items at the same place you are participating at and where you earn said rewards. It will be available again once the winter event ends on the 14th.
I don't believe any final decision has been made regarding extra autographs, so feel free to hang on to them in your bank if you have extra and watch for patch notes/ dev posts. Same goes for extra Winter Epohhs.

Great to hear that we will be able to continue a few of the activities for a while longer, even after the WW is closed.
Update! The Epohh to Romulan Mark trade-in should be available from the same console.

A nice post-Holiday gift would be for them to become unbound and tradable... Heh. Not gonna happen, but it would be nice.
Even turning them for GPL, EC, Dil, Marks, etc... Any of that would be keen too. Come to think of it. We got Romulan Marks from the Winter Event... It would be nice to get Omega Marks from the Event, too. Say, trading in Autographed 8x10 Glossy Photos of Q for Omega Marks would rock! Especially since it was Q who introduced the Federation and the Borg... Seems fitting, no?

There are some T5 Romulan Rep vanity consumable items that use it as an input, in addition to the trophies/ holoemitters available from Quark's and the inputs for the DOFF system.

I don't really have a need for consumables and the holoemitters don't last long eough to justify the cost. 15 minutes for the holoemitters needs to be changed to something more fun. Try 24 hours, then I'll have an interest. DOff missions are more of a sink for Latinum and rarely ever provide yields that make those DOff missions worth it.
Sooo... should those of us who have leftover Q photos hold onto them of can we ditch them?
This comment comes off as "We are happy with the way GPL currently exists, and have no plans to do anything for the foreseeable future."
It's a shame really, since GPL could certainly be used to add ALOT of new cosmetic items to the game. And if we had proper "Customizable Player Interiors", there would be a ton of new revenue from cosmetic upgrades for your ships. Add to that, instead of adding new ships all the time, Cryptic could add new "parts" that can be used for multiple ships. New nacelles, new saucer designs, new hull designs etc.
Why not throw in some of these things into the game, instead of constantly milking us for Zen on Master Keys to open the 0.01% chance boxes?
You're really reading into my post too much. This post was a direct reply to a post that asked, "What are we supposed to do with it all?". GPL is used for cosmetic, vanity items -- we've added several new items that can be purchased with it since the launch of Season 7, and we'll continue considering more options in the future.

What, pray tell... Was added to the GPL store with Season 7?
I skimmed through it but they did do a lot of work on it and theres a bunch of new stuff you can spend GPL on. Usually I'd complain about something complaint worthy but theres nothing to complain about with it this time LOL
Edit: One thing I bought a lot of I like is the holoprojections for ground
With GPL being more Ferengi oriented. More items that you would expect a Ferengi to sell would be nice. Whether it be special weapons or cross-faction weapons, more trophies and better ones than the disappointing Latinum Pile. Even if it's just swords for the walls or other novelty items like special holodeck missions. It would be nice to have something to make me want to earn more GPL. We have time gated content now. This could possibly be adapted to add a special holodeck program for the fleet starbase as a different form of project that doesn't require DL or commodities. A western shoot out, an Academy training simulation, or something.
