New Gear Modifyer Ideas

Here are my ideas for new shield modifiers to add a little more variation to shields.

[abs] +1 to shield Absorb -1 to bleedthrough
[Ref] 2.5% chance to reflect any energyweapon damage at 50% damage, and any reflected damge does 50% damage to shields
[shk] 1% chance to knockback all enemys by 1km when hit.
[Kin] +10% Kinetic Resist (shield) and +5% Kinetic Resist (hull)
[bld] +5% Bleedthrough +5% AllResist
[bal] +10% Shield Distribution (Does not affect tact team)
[pwr] +1 All Powerlevels when hit (stack to 5)
[eff] +30 Efficency Stat (that only effects shields)
[hypr] 10% chance to increase speed by 10% and increase turn rate by 50% for 10s (CD of 1 minute)
[Sns] 2% chance to lower shooters accuracy by 5% for 5s Once every 1 minute.
[drn] 1% chance to drain 5 Weapon Power from shooter.
[wpn] 1% chance when hit to increase damage done by 10% for 10s once every minute

Deflectors:

[ref] same as above
[shk] Same as above
[bal] same as above
[snb] NOT WHAT U THINK! 10% chance to resist Subnuke when subnuked. This is complete resist 10% chance SNB wont even strip buffs. And if it does work, it cuts the CD reduction in half. so if it s100% Reduction u lose 50%
[drn] Adds a 0.5% chance for your weapons to drain 5 weapon power.
[eff] +30 Efficency Stat (only affects aux)
[resA] +5% Phaser Resist (shield) +5% Tetryon Resist (shield) +5% Antiproton Resist (Shield)
[ResB] +5% Disruptor Res (shield) +5% Plasma Resist (Shield) +5% Polaron Resist (shield)
[ResC] +5% Tetryon Resist (shield) +5% Plasma Resist (shield) +5% Polaron Resist (shield)
[Shld] +5% shield Capacity

Engine:
[Eff] +30 Efficency Stat to Engines
[hypr] 10% chance when hit to Increase speed by 10% and Turn Rate by 50% for 10s every minute
[Drn] +20% Resistance to Engine Drain
[pst] +10% resistance to tractor beam Hold/push

just a few ideas.


I like the idea of using crafting for this. Maybe Add a way to remove 1 mod from shields, and replace with the above mods. But once a shield is modified, it becomes Bind on account, Gets upgraded to Ultra-Rare and can never be modified again.

    I like this. There should be some sort of mission or ability that lets you give improvements to or augment tech. Add an extra [DMG] or a [DRN]

    It could make crafting not COMPLETELY USELESS
