Current system of SB doff contributing is very annoying since you have to contribute doffs one by one and so is buying them from exchange.
What about turning doffs into commodity and contributing this commodity to SB instead.
Example:
You SB needs 90 Medical Duty Officer
You can convert (dismissing doff):
white medical doff -> 1x white medical doff commodity
green medical doff -> 3x white medical doff commodity
blue medical doff -> 9x white medical doff commodity
purple medical doff -> 27x white medical doff commodity
This would be user friendly and also it would improve exchange performance.
Interesting idea. If you got a purple medical DOFF with bad traits and not worth very much, this'd let you donate it to the SB for an equal to 27 whites, right?
I'd be for that. Because then if you were going to de-grind that into whites, you aren't guaranteed to get what you want. This would allow you to not have to take that chance.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

don't we have enough already?
Currency? It would be 7 (there are 7 doff departments in the game) commodities like data samples, provisions, etc.

How else will we keep up with the cycle of "create new currency, consolidate new currencies, TRIBBLE over the playerbase, rinse, repeat"?
Just remove the "something something" it is a bastardized portmanteau not an acronym.
