Idea: fleets Capturing Planets

just a thought to give fleets the incentive to continue building there fleets
and with alittle pvp fun.

the idea of this is to allow fleets to capture and own planets,
1 planet per fleet, if a fleet want to move to another planet they have to abandon there
current planet they own to capture another one.

if a fleet wants to capture a planet thats already own by another fleet ther will be options to challeng
a fleet for rights to own the planet. this is an option to be put inplace due to fleets going inactive.

each planet will have special passive abilities for fleets
example: 1 planet will give shorter cooldowns on projects,
and another planet will give shorter resources required for projects

Sirus block / Omega leonis block - Tier 1 and upfleets faction only
Regulus block / PI canis block - Tier 2 and up fleets faction only
Eta eridani block - tier 3 and up faction vs faction
all over blocks will be a free for all.

give fleets the ability to have alliances with other fleets in there own faction
to allow to join and help attack or defend a planet.

Side note: there needs to be 1 section in the forums for suggestions, gets nerve racking not knowing
where exactly to put certain suggestions.

    I would love to see colony-building in the game. I just don't want it to become PVP-centric or be a huge resource sink like the starbases are. I want to have fun building a colony.

    I envision it being like combination of Sim City and King of the Hill. You spend time constructing buildings and connecting roads and infrastructure, and every once in a while a rampaging horde of Nausicaan Raiders stop by for a visit. Then you and your friends have to fight to protect your colonists.

    This does sound entertaining, but... how would it work when you have hundreds of fleets in the game?

    not talking about colony building , strictly owning a planet nothing special other then
    the passive abilities and fighting over ownership for those abilities to build faster. for there fleets.

    thats up to the devs, just a thought of giving incentive to new fleets to continue, other the thinking the fleet starbase system is just a waste of money and time. when theres already older fleets ahaead.
