Yesterday I finally managed to win a Galor Class Cruiser. Today I got to play with it, and whilst it's a fine ship, I feel a little bit more could have been done when putting the package together.
Firstly, the ship material/windows (disregarding the deflector colour) is non existent. I do like the deflector colour change (nice switch if you're going from Phaser or Anti Proton to Polaron, Tetryon or maybe Plasma) and I love both the Bridge, and the Bridge Officer slots.
Secondly, the weapon arrays. They're surprisingly minimal. There are scenes in DS9 that show the Galor firing from places it doesn't in STO. You've managed to add weapon positions on other ships (Federation and Klingon) that weren't there in the show or films, yet you seem to have stopped short on the Galor. A little disappointing.
I also know these ships were given to the Federation during the Dominion War, but it would have been nice to be able to place a Cardassian logo on the Hull rather than a Starfleet / Fleet one.
But yeah, that's it. A few irregularities, otherwise I love it.
It could be worse, some of the lock-box & standard ships don't display the shield set effects properly, like the Bug. I think the Grumba also has issues with engine trails (like a few other ships). Sadly, these issues have been around for quite some time, but Cryptic dose not seam to be in any hurry to fix them.
In the same vein I'd love for them to improve the D'kora's defensive mode so there was actually some reason to use it... But these ships seem utterly abandoned as far as development goes. I can understand why, it just makes me a little sad.

Actually , the Galor did get an update .
The "brick" shaped front weapons port was retooled to a more show accurate square , and as a unique visual , it now fires dual beam weapons as a single beam from it's redesigned front weapons port .
No other lockbox ship got an update like the Galor ... -- yet there is one more update that is missing -- the ability to remove the fed/kdf faction symbol once you go into the ship tailor .
I for one am glad the ship does not fire out of a million weapons ports .
Sometimes , minimal works best .

That is 1 thing i really want for mine, the ability to send out my Boffs to scrape the symbol off when in the ships tailor - just getting mildly annoyed when i see it on there
