We already have the EV suits. I was kinda thinking that it wouldn't be totally zero G, but maybe extremely low G like what we have on that mining asteroid or maybe lower. The maps could be The Hull of a ship or the Exterior of a Space station.
One teams objective could be to damage the ship/base by going and doing some tech things to various conduit junctions or something. All the while the other team is tasked with undoing what the infiltrators are up to.
Putting the obligatory "lol ground" aside, that sounds like a pretty interesting variation on current ground play. They could include a number of devices and exploitable environmental hazards that could send people floating away. They could even have mechanics to retrieve/save them.
I'm sure there is something here, even though I personally think Space ship PvP could use some new and more interesting modes first.

It's terrible but easy, and these Borg are way cooler than the mess STO and Voyager left us.
May not actually be "way" cooler or even "slightly" cooler.
The last game I played that had space combat with pc characters and not ships was Shattered Horizon.
I would be all for adding similar gameplay (in mmo mode, not so much fps at the least, due to how the engine interface is setup) in sto.

+1 to both parts.

No more ground stuff, please. Give it a rest, use the ground stuff that's already been released.
Space combat PvP is in dire need of attention. Fix Ker'rat, make another space PvPvE zone like it (maybe in Pi Canis or Tau Dewa) against Tholians or Undine, make a couple of PvP arena/C+H maps, significantly increase the rewards associated with PvP, etc.

No more ground stuff? are you serious? ground had two single changes this year! for an entire year! ,just two changes for ground pvp.

I was referring to ground in general, tbh. Of course ground PvP hasn't been improved, because PvP in general is neglected. However, this is supposed to be a space-combat oriented game (at least, in my eyes). Ground should ultimately be secondary to space. Improve space PvP first, and then improve ground PvP.
I guess I'm just tired of seeing all this ground-based TRIBBLE being introduced relatively recently (first the Defera revamp/repurposing, then Nukara, and now New Romulus), which is utterly meaningless to me as I avoid ground missions and combat whenever possible. Meanwhile, the only jointly-utilized space adventure zone (Ker'rat) is plagued with glitches and bugs and suffers from TRIBBLE-poor rewards like the rest of PvP does.

It sure sounds interesting. For some reason, when thinking about it, I cannot get the thought of player grappling hooks as a special map weapon out of my head though.
The thing is, I'd want this map to have an objective(s) and an effect on a pve situation.
