I'm thinking about coming back to STO after trying several other games including MWO and TOR both for the pvp and nothing I tried seemed to to give me the enjoyment that STO did. Been away for few months is it gonna be possible to jump in to pvp and be somewhat competitive or will I have a serious pve grind first with some of the changes IO have read about.
theres proboly never been as much of a built in disadvantage as there is now for someone coming back or just starting, thanks to the rep system. the tier 4 passives are so overpowered that people are nearly unkillable, but they are thankfully being nerfed soon
As long as you know what you're doing, you can still be more then capable in PVP. If you wanna hang out and hit the queues you're more then welcome to hang out on LAG's TS

With all its flaws, PvP is basically a good system made better by the people that play. Welcome back, we need you - unless you are a whiner.
