Romulan Kits @ Embassy Shuttle Bay

Hmmmm Looks as if the Romulan Kits all give a little bump in functionality except the Xenobiologist one which from what I am looking at is the same exact version that pretty much no Sci ever uses LOL.

By the looks of it... I would guesstimate that its Mk X should have Mk VI Stasis Field although being its a fragile hold most fragile abilities are never used due to boffs or even in STF's people break them so fast there isn't much strategy involved in useing them. I am hoping possibly this was intentionally done to revamp the much needed science kits like this that are never used. I was gonna get one just to collect more useless TRIBBLE being my KDF toons don't have much left to use dilithium or fleet credits on LOL. Eh I might get it anyway to add to my useless fed diet TRIBBLE I collect.

Edit: Well I can see how it would be useful having the tacheyon harmonic with it as a 5th skill but seems a little out of tune without there being something higher for mk x like the other 2 classes have.

Eh, I think there is two main selling points with em:

    1. They have a level 4 ability on em (like Fire Team got it's Plasma Grenade upgraded)
    2. They gain a 5th power, and on the Mk XII, that 5th power is ramped to level 2.

Of the three, the Fire Team, already a powerful kit, becomes even more powerful because they add Motion Accelerator to it.

Xenobiologist, yeah, nobody ever uses that. The Fabrication Specialist is ok if you care about getting Quick Fix.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Yeah the eng and tact kits I can see the point in getting those but that sci one just doesn't have a lot of selling points LOL. I'm just hoping they make it better sometime soon because it needs to be just as good as the other 2 imo.

Do the Romulan kits look different from the Federation ones?

I'm guessing more variety of kits will become available as more fleet embassies are located on more social zones. At least, that is probably Cryptic's plan.

My guess is that it is Fleet Holdings. Still have Exploration, Espionage, Medical, Colonial, Trade, and Development left for Fleet Holdings. Since there are 6 kits for each career and 1 has been used up, then either there will be one fleet holding with 2 categories and the rest will have 1 or there will be other ways to get kits like through the reputation system or they will skip out on a few kits.

Recruitment is all you need for Romulan Kits. To get Romulan kits Mk XII, your fleet needs to run the Tier 3 Recruitment upgrade project, but your Embassy can still be at Tier 0. Tier 1 Recruitment gives the Romulan Kits Mk X and Tier 2 gives the Romulan Kits Mk XI.
