I just thought of this. I am honestly surprised there was no Romulan ground set.
I think that'd be quite interesting to see, and hope they might add in something like that.
What do you all think such a set might have? (And just pretend it's at Mk XII)
My thoughts on it are:
Romulan Subterfuge Set:
Romulan Cloaking Personal Shield: Less cap than a normal shield, but provides a constant, or just a bonus to anytime you stealth.
Romulan Polyalloy Weave Armor: Normal bonuses from that, but also has extra protection against Phasers and Disruptors.
Romulan Wide-Beam Plasma Pistol: Has disruptor proc as well, along with providing a good chance to stun and/or root an enemy that is caught within the attack, including the wide angle one.
Two-piece bonus: Large Stasis field - Projects a large, AoE stasis field in front of your character, holding any enemies caught within, until it wears off or the enemy is shot at. In turn, after it wears off or is removed somehow, it can also cause a brief extra stun.
Three-piece passive: Tal Shiar Cloaking Field: Gives an extra, constant bonus to all cloaking you and your team uses.
Also:
Reman Shadow Set:
Reman Covariant Personal Shield: Larger cap than most, and provides a resistance to holds, stuns, and roots.
Reman Integrated Targetting Armor: Has all the normal stats of this armor, with an extra exploit damage bonus as well. Also reduces the CD on psionic abilities by 5%.
Reman High Density Plasma Beam Rifle: Has disruptor proc, along with extra critical chance and severity.
Two-piece power: Reman Shadow - Fools your enemies into focusing fire on a psionic Reman that appears for a brief time. Any enemies who attack the shadow have a chance to expose themselves.
Three-piece passive: Reman Psionics - Gives a bonus to resistance to confuse and placate, while also making your confuse, placates, and psionic abilities more powerful.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.
Not sure about the Reman Shadow set powers. Reman Shadow seems more like a trained psionic ability rather than something that other races can use. We really need more ground sets. The Jem'Hadar set lacks something since the armor doesn't look like something a Jem'Hadar would wear. Shiny armor just doesn't fit warriors that use cloaking devices.

Well, Jem'hader don't use cloaking devices, that is part of an ability they themselves have. Now, as for how it manages to cloak their clothing, is another story.
As for the Reman set, I just kinda made these up right on the spot, didn't really think em through.

Even still, it's an interesting idea. And these sets actually makes sense. (Borg set? Why would I want to wear borg parts? Ewwww....)

There are the Borg Prosthetics which when I first heard of them thought they might replace a player's arm with a borg arm or actually looks like a borg arm with handles and a trigger. There are also numerous liberated borg running around that want to have a look that is closer to the Borg than just a few facial implants and the infected skin look. Besides, if you don't like the look, then you can always disable the visuals.
