engineering powers-
emergency power to shields 1, aux to sif 1. OR engineering team 1, emergency power to shields 2.
the major theme of both ships is to strip the shields, and they do it quite well against all targets. hardened targets just take a little more time but it wears them down all the same.
the wells is also more capabable of killing targets due to the tric mines but is a little more squishier and not as team friendly as the vesta.
either ships build works fine on each other, but the wells has a slight edge in turn rate for tric dropping.
I wonder how a CPB 3 + Dual TachBeam 3 + Tractor Beam DOff Vesta with Phased Tet DHCs and Delta Flyers would do.
Any chance Flow Caps help out the DF's TachBeam at all? Also, are you using those TachBeam DOffs that neuter turn rate?
I don't know if they've fixed those since I last tested them, but from what I can tell the debuff never applies and all that happens is they fly around with a "Warp Theorist" debuff icon for like ten minutes.

Typically, yes but the whole purpose of his build is to ensure the Tric Mines reach their target.

nowhere near as powerful as it once was-
my cpb does 5k
my tachyon 3 does 6k
my tractor drain does 3k
the resists only seem to apply to the cpb and tachyon, so figure the average guy only being hit by 40% of those thats 40% of 11k
and then 3k on top of it.
yeah, full shields wont go away but if theyre hurting and then thats used to "finish" them....
its quite handy.

sadly those weapons you wanna use... would suck with this build. the aux power needs to stay high for the tach beam and cpb to be at their best....
now... using the aux cannons that come with it..... could be interesting....
and no, as far as i know nothing on the ship effects the pets.
no room for the tach beam doff, i use the deflector doff, the tractor doff, the aoe blind ya doff for the cpb, and 2 shield distro doffs.
have been toying with the idea of dropping a shield distro doff for the 1000 radiation cpb doff for that extra fun there.

I can be at 95ish Aux with MACO shields, higher if I use EPtAux, while running 100 (123) Weapons.
What's that CPB Doff you speak of? Where do all of these new DOffs keep popping up from? I haven't heard of half of them.
A Grav can do the radiation...
