Ok I know you all have a test server I have been on it yep. Okay here is what you do; take to developers and have them get on 2 ships and put all the new stuff you want to put in the game on those ships then have them shoot at each other...

Now if you had done this you would have been like hmm wow a fully buffed tac escort with the best weps in the game cannot even scratch the hull of this other escort while having these passives on them lets turn them down a bit. Repeat tell desired effect is accomplished!

This trial method works great trust me I did it all the time when building aircraft. Our final product worked perfectly once it was on the market yours not so much. I am glad you all don't build cars, boats, planes, ect PEOPLE WOULD DIE!!!!

any "untouchable " escort is cheating

Even the strongest escort (passives included) is still trashable

How is this thread helpful to anyone?

OP, Pax has already made a thread and a fix for Omega T4 passive is in the works.

Did he really tell us that aircraft designers outfit their aircraft with the latest stuff, then have them shoot at each other?

That doesn't seem like the most cost effective way to build an aircraft Al'Thor.

I think the message Rand is trying to get across is that the devs need to test new stuff before releasing it. :P

They will test things in sims.
There will be trial runs of various things.
    Etc, etc, etc.

It's not just a case that the designers have a geewhizbang idea while having their morning constitutional and workers start building the thing...

Its not realty helpful to the players we test stuff for them in the final product... so basically they give us broken TRIBBLE then they might fix it. It also helps us see who it intelligent or not and I see only a couple of you are able to read process and think... :/

As far as how it helps cryptic it tells them what they should do before releasing stuff it can be any ship does not have to be a escort. They need to test things before they release them because it obviously effects their player base and in the end effects their money!
