On a whim, I bought a Deep Space Science Vessel Reward Pack from the exchange and I fitted it with all phaser beam arrays and got the appropriate consoles for them.
I was just in the Alpha Centauri Reman DSE and managed to eliminate the battlegroups consisting of Mogai escorts and Warbirds - even the flagship within seconds. I turned on every available boff ability and *boom*.
I have to say, I love the gravity well and energy siphon abilities.
And it was suggested that I get rid of the isometric charge. Never! Nothing cooler than having a string of enemies that you can eliminate with one show - especially useful against small fighters.
I couple probably get better beam arrays and a better deflector.
Any tips and suggestions are welcome.
Keep in mind that I don't have any of the assimilated consoles or any MACO or Aegis stuff. Unless someone wanted to gift me these things!

Bind Weapons, Both EPtS', Aux2SIF and TT to the Spacebar (Tutorials can be found in the pvp forums).
The play style for it is:
keep the spacebar going and use skills to deny power, movement and resistance (extra resistance removal if sci/tac and add buff denial to the list if playing a sci toon). This ship if played right can lock almost any ship down and keep it down until something with more firepower can finish the job.
This build is tried and tested by me and has the ability to hold escorts at it's mercy.
Enjoy
Ummm...hmm. Yes, I see what you've done there. Very nice.
One question: what does it mean?
What it means is that I have constant shield resistance boost along with shield rotation quite often as well as a regular hull heal to cover any bleed-through damage which also boosts the hull resistance which as a result means I can hang in a fight, I can also deal some fairly heavy damage with the right power levels:
Weapons: 100
Shields: 25
Engines:25
Auxiliary: 50
(Sacrificing a few points of weapon power for engines if the end power as a result of this in under 50)
