What Mk/Grade did you run these numbers at? Wouldn't it be an additional percentage to base weapon damage? These numbers are unbuffed as well? Since it is based off of skill points, buffs apply to it.

Well more dps is required with the increased tanking given by some reputation power. I'm not sure it's been finely balanced for pvp but at least it's not just more tanking this time. Tanking is fine. 30 mins or more matches aren't.

You are correct, its a flat +, not a %. Perhaps I was unclear. I was trying to get at the relationship between +1 skill point and a percentage increase in DPV/DPS of any weapon type.

There is a new passive skill in the rep system that gives +30 to weapons training. This is a bonus to all damage done in space.
The above numbers are how much damage will be added to your Damage Per Volley.

This, in a way, does make it a flat bonus. Here are the bonuses for DPV for each skill point you have. (some are rounded)
Turret - 0.225
Cannon - 0.336
Dual Cannons - 0.435
Beam Array - 0.500
Beam Bank - 0.650
Dual Heavy Cannons - 0.871
ya they were getting about 25% increase but they based it off of 200 base damage(beam). the real base is 100 for beam.
all the bonus for skills or consoles is added together then multiplied by the base.
