This should be the extra damage you get from this passive bonus.

@ Weapon Power 50/@ Weapon Power 125

Turret - 6.8/16.9
Cannon - 10.1/25.2
Dual Cannons - 13.1/32.6
Beam Array - 15.0/37.5
Beam Bank - 19.5/48.8
Dual Heavy Cannons - 26.1/65.3

Photon - 202.8
Transphasic - 146.7
Chroniton - 173.7
Plasma - 159.2
Tricobalt - 623.0
Quantum - 225.5

This is all DPV.

    Sorry about that.
    There is a new passive skill in the rep system that gives +30 to weapons training. This is a bonus to all damage done in space.

    The above numbers are how much damage will be added to your Damage Per Volley.

    This was just an FYI post. Does that clear it up?

    What Mk/Grade did you run these numbers at? Wouldn't it be an additional percentage to base weapon damage? These numbers are unbuffed as well? Since it is based off of skill points, buffs apply to it.

    What were the stats before the passive skill? Without knowing that it makes this information rather useless.

    I thought the skill points was a flat increase, not a percentage?

    Well more dps is required with the increased tanking given by some reputation power. I'm not sure it's been finely balanced for pvp but at least it's not just more tanking this time. Tanking is fine. 30 mins or more matches aren't.

    +30 skill is +15% doesn't matter what mark your weapons is it only has one base damage.(the Mk level is just a bonus from the base damage also)

    these are unbuffed numbers ( besides the weapon power level)

    I haven't tested how buffs work yet so i can say.

    You are correct, its a flat +, not a %. Perhaps I was unclear. I was trying to get at the relationship between +1 skill point and a percentage increase in DPV/DPS of any weapon type.

    Sort of older information, but did you mean something like this?

    it is a % but there is only one base damage per type turret, cannon, etc.

    This, in a way, does make it a flat bonus. Here are the bonuses for DPV for each skill point you have. (some are rounded)

    Turret - 0.225
    Cannon - 0.336
    Dual Cannons - 0.435
    Beam Array - 0.500
    Beam Bank - 0.650
    Dual Heavy Cannons - 0.871

    ya they were getting about 25% increase but they based it off of 200 base damage(beam). the real base is 100 for beam.

    all the bonus for skills or consoles is added together then multiplied by the base.

    Here is a link to me spreed sheet i do need to do some updating to it. but i have been playing the game to much lol.
