Fleet Starbase Fleet Credits

I am curious about something and hope to find an answer with this query...
If one leaves a fleet with 165 K Fleet Creds on a Fed toon and 95 K on a Klingon toon...do the creds vanish...or do they remain with us to take to another fleet..? :confused:

    When you make a fleet contribution, you are awarded two currencies, fleet credits and lifetime fleet credits. The lifetime fleet credits just shows how much you have contributed to the fleet and stays with the fleet. Fleet Credits are yours forever until you decide to spend them. So joining a new fleet means that you still keep your fleet credits, but your contribution on the leaderboard is reset to zero since its a new fleet.
