I am having a lot of fun with my advanced escort and can't wait until my fleet completes our tier 4 shipyard so I can buy a fleet advanced escort. I was considering a fleet tactical escort, but I think I will hold out for the fleet advanced escort.
I would appreciate some suggestions on my ship. I was thinking of dropping the Shield emitter amplifier for another field generator. Does this make sense?
When I get the advanced fleet escort, should I buy another phaser relay, field generator or neutronium armor?

USS Achilles
3x Very Rare, MK XII Phaser Dual Heavy Cannons (Both the Fleet and the Borg version)
1x Very Rare, Mk XII Quantum Torpedo Launcher (Fleet and Borg)

Very Rare, Mk XII MACO Deflector, Impulse Engines and Shields
Remove quantum torpedos, quantum torpedos console, and shield emitter console. Replace them with another very rare dual heavy cannons, phaser relay console and emitter array console (or the borg universal one)

You should be aware that the Fleet AE is a completely different ship, it's actually an MVAM with five Tac consoles. It has a Lt. Com. Sci station instead of a Lt. Com. Tac.
I imagine you'd still enjoy flying it (it has some of the most fun possible builds in the game), just understand that it ain't your momma's AE any more.
not bad imho, but i would drop the quantum chamber and add another phaser relay. and i would drop a field generator and add the borg console there making room for another neutronium or ablative armor, depending on how you feel about stacking.

That's an interesting suggestion. I like hitting multiple targets with my quantums, but this would be a powerful phaser boat.

APB has a 15 second CD you can use it non-stop for a good damage boost, and Scatter volley spreads the love of APB everywhere with 100% uptime.
I can use on Tactical Team 1x because I use purple DOFF's that reduce refresh to 15 seconds.
Extra Torp spread does great damage in stf's up the output of torps with another DOFF that increases the frequency of how often torps and you can do very decent kenetic damage. You have five active DOFF's you can put in a ship it changes the dynamic of the build and makes torps much more viable as a secondary weapon.
