In the latest issue of Star Trek: The Official Magazine, STO is spotlighted. Head to your local magazine retailer, or purchase the electronic version, to check out the eight-page spread which features an original piece of Trek fiction and an interview about the Foundry with dStahl and Cerberusfilms.

Daniel Stahl, Executive Producer at Cryptic Studios, reveals the powerful new tool that allows you to create and share your own Star Trek adventures, and Star Trek Online player and Foundry author Oliver Smith gives his perspective on user-created content's role in the game.

How old is this article if they are calling the foundry tool "new"?

The article is brand-new -- not sure why they called it "new" but it's new to most Trekkers and Trekkies who don't play STO I imagine :)

    Cheers,

Nice. Always a good thing to be able to get the word out to Star trek fans that may not be MMO players. Would love to be able to get a larger image to be able to read it :(

Did the article talk about the release date of Season Seven?

While the STO Foundry isn't new to - and is used quite a bit by - us, it has pretty much been a long-term beta effort for some time. I've yet to read an announcement lifting STO's Foundry from beta status. With our Season 7 - and Neverwinter - on the horizon, perhaps that is changing and the magazine article is simply consistent with this change?

    Funky.

I still hate Phon btw. Unworthy of a ship named Enterprise. :/

Is there another story out? When will these stories be released so that people who play STO can actually read them?
