Why cant some simple adjustments be applied?

Simple example: Boarding parties.

Simply increase hull, shields, speed and the bonus defense and they might actually be viable in PVP, and perhaps our little puggies are less TRIBBLE that way?

these easy and small fixes can solve ALOT of the problems we are currently having.

They did just that not long ago... they used to be slower and even easier to pop... they got a speed and defense bump not long ago... Honestly the issue with BP isn't landing the shuttles thats easy... its the fact that your target is going to have a tac team running or off cool down... or back off cool down 5 seconds after you land them... that make BP that TRIBBLE.

Fix Tac Team and yes the last fix to boarding party would make it a very annoying skill to be hit by.

Maybe we should give pugs double or triple shields too. :) Auto TacTeam execution as well.

Pugs can become like annoying Elite-level enemies then.

Or maybe do the sane thing and get rid of BP? Which sane captain would send a few shuttles over to board a enemy ship during a massive firefight? Oh and how do they even get through the shields?

it should work exactly like it did in SFC, if a shield facing drops wile the ability is activate, a transport should occur and have them do their thing. have it act like a torp ability, its just on waiting fro you to fire a torp/shield facing falls. sending them over in shuttles is a dumb idea from an in universe standpoint, transporters exist!

Ya I hear what people are saying... little shuttles when shields are up do seem pretty stupid... however on transport when shields fail... it sounds like a poor mans vm at that point. :)

They could just make them untargetable... but they can only be launched when a shield facing drops... this way they are bound to land... really though landing them isn't the issue its the tac team....

Honesty I have used BP for lulz and I'm not talking that far back either... they are devastating if you time them right.... and use them on a ship you know only has one tac team. :) Pugs that use them just aren't smart enough to not launch them when you have 9 seconds left on your tac team already. lol

ive been very tempted to run it actually, and use it during EWPing. ive let it just hit me befor and not resist it just to see what it did, and wile it doesn't do nearly as much to subsystems as vm will, it royally screws up your cooldowns, and that doesn't go away in 30 seconds like a subnuk will.
