the new carrier cooldown not fair?

hi

i remember after i have start playing carriers and try to get my full 3xpurple doffs for best petcooldown.

i have payed for my last purple doff 8mio EC to get max pet cooldown coz i have for weeks no luck in other doff gambles.

now with the new patch the cooldown for pets for this doffs was nerfed by 300% for unknown reason?


and this doff class becomes near useless about this nerf , whats the point of this nerf?

all the time i played this game ea doff gives 15% reduce cooldown time now a purple doff gives 5%, thats 3x lower, WHY????:mad:

Are you sure you were not sub nuc'd... I haven't had that problem with my carrier ones but if you got hit with a sub nuc running atleast 100 aux power you most likely got sub nuc'd.

No, he's not talking about getting subnuked once in combat, sheesh. They modified the doffs from giving a 15% cool to giving a flat 5 second cool reduction to hangars and 8 second cool to boarding party. My carrier (fed side) with three purple doffs could pop out pretty much any hangar pet with 1-2 second cool. I was planning on getting a heavy escort carrier which would have been able to pop out one hangar of danubes with a 15 second cool.

My carrier could pop out danubes every 15ish seconds and fighters every 6ish seconds with three green doffs. With these changes, my three purple doffs provide less cool reduction than I had with three green doffs pre-nerf

Now the doffs are pretty much useless as the cool reduction they provide isn't worth the active duty doff space they take up. And 8 seconds off of boarding party? No one in their right mind uses boarding party. Everyone who knows how to play the game has back to back tac teams because the devs made that the end all be all of survival. Tac team removes boarding parties, so that skill is absolutely useless.

Carriers pretty much NEED these doffs to spam their summons as 75% of carrier pets instantly vaporize under fire at will or scatter volley. If they are gonna nerf these doffs to the point that they are absolutely useless, they need to let us trade them in for other doffs of the same quality, and then make carrier summons more durable. A carrier without pets is more helpless than the pitiful beached whale they've made cruisers into.

Needless to say, I won't be wasting any zen on the now nerfed heavy escort carrier... crossing my fingers and hoping for some some shiny new awesome with season 7 I guess... le sign.

In what universe is tallking about the nerf that puts the kaibash on releasing carrier pets faster, in any way, whatsoever, even remotely related to getting hit by a subnucleonic beam?!?

I'm sure it happened to you. And you have my sympathies. Otherwise, LOL.
